Godzilla Minus Zero will go down as the thing of legends as, at the New York Film Festival, the movie was so intense it seemingly caused a heart attack during my screening.

Godzilla -0.0 was electric, raising the stakes and upping the action from the first film while reaming grounded and centered on the human story and emotional core of the film. Bolder and more politically charged than the original movie, Godzilla Minus Zero takes the franchise to new heights and darker places than the series has ever gone before as it tells a beautiful and heart wrenching story that demands to be seen on the biggest screen possible.

The film picks up two years after Godzilla Minus One, plunging the world into chaos as a new threat arrives in Japan, bringing back in the survivors of Godzilla’s first attack to save the day, only to quickly overwhelm them as the King of the Monsters returns!
