The Doctor & Jo had never met prior to Terror of the Autons. The Doctor's initial antagonism was that he had just lost his previous companion - a highly qualified scientist - and now this much younger, unqualified newstart (with influential relations) was being foisted on him.

I feel so bad for the ones who had their work destroyed, I saw this video of Patrick Troughton saying what his favourite episode was and he said it but then he said “but, well that’s all gone now” his voice cracked a bit and he sounded sad but accepting of that truth

I remember the PS2 fondly, one of its hugest selling points was the fact it could play DVDs

Best way to sell your parents to get it?

"It plays video games... but it can also play movies!"

It's like a bundle!

I’m glad you’re watching more Classic Doctor Who because I truly do think it’s the best part of Doctor Who. Modern Who is good but has a lot of shortcomings that you notice the more you watch Classic Who.

If you want to see more 7 stories, I recommend checking out The Happiness Patrol. It’s an underrated classic.

To be clear, that's the Brigadier's first story, but not the actor Nicholas Courtney's first appearance. He's a main character in Dalek's Master Plan as well

You're missing so much in 16:9

You have to watch 63-96 Who in 4:3

Any TV made in 4:3 needs to be watched in 4:3 to get the proper full experience.

I caught the end credits of one episode of the Web of Fear - Jack Watling played Prof. Travers, a part he also played in the Abominable Snowmen, as I found when I checked on Wikipedia.
He was, of course, the father of Deborah Watling who played Victoria in the same episodes
