It blows my mind to see "20y ago" on any YouTube video

Happy 20th anniversary to one of the first viral and iconic YouTube videos!

I don't know why this video suddenly popped up in my feed again in 2026. But it is always nice to rewatch.

The first time you watched this you were probably 20 years younger and the chances are you watched it on a PC not through a phone. Mental.

If this was uploaded today, YouTubes copyright system would have a field day.

I watched this way back in 2006 but only now do I realize:

He did all that, in JEANS

This is one of the most important videos in Internet history.

This should be enshrined in the internet hall of fame

Petition for YouTube to add an "oldest comment option"

Friendly reminder that the “newest” song on here is now 17 years old.....

This video is older than the entire tiktok community

I know this was one of the most iconic YouTube videos from 20 years ago, but this is a legendary algorithm pull for me.

I remember the days when there was a page on YouTube for "most viewed of all time" and this was always the top video.

Back when youtube's video quality is 240p but the quality of the video itself is great.

Let me tell you a story kids. There was a time when Despacito was not the most viewed video on YouTube.

Him rejecting the Macarena will always be funny

YouTube is the closest thing we have to an actual time machine.

Remember when this video was the most watched video on YouTube. It dominanted everyone for so long

Here I am 19 years later watching this epic performance again.

Ladies and gentlemen, it has officially been 20 years since this video has been released. what a journey it has been for the internet.

Future goers, I was here for the 10th anniversary, here I am for the 20th, and hopefully YouTube exists by the 30th. ;)
