Roadside station hopping in Yamanashi — three stops in one trip.
The first one we reached a little early: a compact Michi-no-Eki with a strikingly futuristic, cyber-style building. Sadly, the restaurant wasn’t open yet.
Next stop: our main destination, Michi-no-Eki Fujikawa — a larger station packed with fresh produce and souvenirs. We ordered the local specialty right away… but it was a miss!
So we headed off-plan to a third spot. Along the way, we found a roadside station we’d never even heard of — of course we had to check it out! What on earth will we find there?

This is not a travel guide. There is no script — three stations, one futuristic building, one disappointing meal, and one surprise discovery. Just as it unfolded.
