Hey thanks for making this. Even though im familiar with chopping breaks with other tools and DAWs, this helped a lot to know specifically that once you chop the drum track to export it. That part wasn't clear, and even though i expected some kinda processing, i couldnt quite find it (SHIFT + CONVERT). Lifesaver man, peace.

Coming from the mpc sample this is a nearly entirely different workflow! That’s why I was confused when I started on my mpc one. You just unlocked it for me. Easy peasy thank you for this!

Either I’m really a dummy or you’re just an amazing teacher. This video was really a game changer! I’ve been using FL studio all my life and wanted to make the switch to stand alone production so I bought the MPC One G2 about 4 weeks ago and I’ve been struggling to get creative. I went to a friend’s house two days ago and he taught me a little about chopping up the samples but this video got really in depth on how to really chop, Change pitch, etc. I had no idea how to even utilize the Q Links so I really appreciate you making this video for knuckleheads like me!

Another helpfull tip to know the bpm on your device

When chopping samples press the note repeat whenever you find a rhythm, if it's like 88.30, replace the bpm to 88
That way when your chopping your sample, u directly know the bpm

Most important thing...just have fun creating guys, growth becomes after keep working on it
