👑Drama【KING OF COMEDY】 – Synopsis:
A fresh narrative paying tribute to Stephen Chow’s classic IP, where friends join forces to stage a spectacular show! Immerse yourself in the story of a "comedy dream team" returning to their village to launch a new venture—packed with rapid-fire gags, it’s the perfect cure for the blues. Located on the coast of Fujian, Shapu Village is remote and underdeveloped, suffering from severe population decline. When a developer, Boss Huang, offers a relocation and redevelopment deal, the villagers waver and prepare to accept. However, local resident Ah Zhen (played by Yang Chaoyue) and her older brother Jiahao (played by Zhang Chi) are among the few who refuse; they secure a seven-day window to save the village by leveraging the fame of the King of Comedy IP. They enlist the help of the experienced Zhou Ke (played by Jiang Long) and their cousin Lin Ximei (played by Jiang Shimeng). Zhou Ke steps up to the challenge amidst a series of mishaps: an initial viral video leads to a sudden account ban, yet a drunken incident unexpectedly attracts the attention of the tourism bureau. Just as things take a turn for the better, the team faces an infringement scandal and a rival village—Chuanao—steals their brand name, plunging Shapu Village into crisis once more. Amidst this, the bond between the two leads deepens, even as misunderstandings and conspiracies escalate. Ultimately, Zhou Ke and Ah Zhen fight side by side to successfully safeguard their village.
