RetroAchievements was recently added to Wind Waker and I decided to get all of them to see how different it would be from a normal 100% Speedrun, and it was A LOT harder than I thought. ENJOY!

This was by far one of the most difficult and tedious Wind Waker Challenges I have ever completed, so I really hope you enjoy the video!

"Gonna use this MEMORABLE MOMENT to let YOUTUBE know that Linkus7 didn't actually record this in one setting but only wore the sweater for FOUR STREAMS STRAIGHT to make you think he did SWEATPOGGERS

Wind Waker, and specifically the Nintendo Gallery, is what made me decide growing up that not every game needs to be 100%ed.

I've only recently learned about Retro Achievements. I've got two kids now and most devs these days make their platinum/achievements far too much of a grind to be bothered with. I just don't have time. It's fun to watch others still hunt though.

I feared when it said "one hour later" I thought for a second that he was stuck on the Makar puzzle for an hour.

My thought process:
"But Wind Waker doesn't have achievements"
"Oh they've added custom achievements, okay"
"Oh no the Gallery is absolutely gonna be an achievement"

Linkus never having experienced the Tingle Tuner missions despite using it all the time is hilarious haha

I'm surprised they didn't make "Clear Earth Temple without having a floormaster grab Medli" an achievement. But I guess it is pretty of easy to do even while playing casually

I'm big on 100% running games and I remember doing all the obscure Tingle Tuner stuff back on the original release. I also remember thinking "the number of other players doing these things has to be in the single digits."

YOU CAN BUY A PICTURE OF GANON!?!
I always thought you had to take a picture during the final boss fight, then either quit out or keep it for the newgame+
I literally abandoned my Windwaker HD run because i thought i missed the ganon picture! 😭

Cool to see RetroAchievements become a little more mainstream.

What timing! I literally learned about the existence of Retro Achievements last week. Considering the Gamecube was added just last month, I assume that's the source of the sudden traction that's causing it to be on everyone's lips...

Honestly one of the more fun videos to watch, because I get to learn new stuff even I never knew that was hidden in the game. A clever way to make the game more fun instead of being just straightforward.

14:00 Man, I'm so glad the HD version lets you give him multiple pictographs at once, it makes getting the figurines actually tolerable

@Linkus7 "the explosive surprise on outset Island" is the so called never ending pot, use time song and the pot respawns WITH another orange rupee, great to farm for Triforce charts or special tingle shop (pls upvote so he sees this for future randomizer runs)

Man I swear that Twitch chat makes Linkus’s videos and streams much more hilarious and enjoyable. I’ve never seen such a beautiful and at the same time ironic community in a Zelda streamer or even in a streamer at all. Chat, Linkus is so lucky to have you <3
Thanks for all the laughs :D
