I really love the lower quality videos, they give me more tingles than the higher quality ones (for some reason). But even now they're still fantastic.

Here in 2025… you’ve been amazing forever Maria!

Who's out here in 2021? Love these older/ "poorer quality" ASMR videos ❤
Actually... I love anything she does! 😅

Revisiting this nostalgic video because I just came from your new paper bag snowflake video for 2025.
This was the first video I saw of you when I began to learn what asmr was 🤭

I enjoy the fact that every sound made has a purpose, rather than just randomly tapping and scratching things. All well and good, but I find ASMR most powerful when it comes from ambient coincidental sounds, rather than those made for the purpose of triggering ASMR. You're showing us how to do something and it just so happens to put me to sleep. (in a good way) Thanks.

I remember when this was first  uploaded. I was pregnant with my 4th child and in the hospital with my 17 month old girl, who had just been diagnosed with cerebral palsy. It was so scary and caotic a time and I used your videos to stay calm. You really saved me and my family Maria (and  my sanity😅) thank you ever so much❤❤❤ I can not believe  it's been 13 years already❤

And now 2019... still one of the best ASMR videos out there.

I used your directions for these again. I had to decorate the lobby of our high school auditorium for our winter concert and these worked perfectly. I actually printed Christmas song sheet music from the internet then cut the papers into 8x8 squares. I used 8 pieces to make the star and they turned out fantastic! Everyone thought I slaved away for days making them. :-) Thank you once again for this video tutorial, Maria.

Can’t believe I’ve been watching your channel for 10 years and have only just discovered this in 2025! It’s perfect and so relaxing. I love your early work, especially the pace and tone and rythym of your voice back then.

She is the best, I like her older videos best, I like the soft spoken smooth natural flow voice not so much whispering and slow it’s not natural sounding as no one really talks slow in real life as it would be annoying waiting for the words to come out, but as I said she is the best in soft spoken

Wow.... you know what? I searched 1, 2 or maybe 3 years ago youtube for origami videos. Made by woman and without disturbing music in the background. Only papersounds. But I searched without success. I didn't know anything about ASMR and I thougt I am the only one on earth who is looking for calm and silent origami videos on youtube for relaxation purpose and tingles ;-)

2018!!! You have grown a lot, you shoud do origami videos again

exactly 10 years ago today this video was posted, and I remember watching this right when it came out. I came back for the craft tutorial, and ended up watching it all the way through again! I couldn't click off I was so relaxed. still the best to this day <3

Making your snowflakes again Maria!  This is about the 4/5 time I made them since you posted in 2011.  I’ve been with you since the very beginning ❤️

I love these original videos and prefer them to the high tech vids of today.

These old school lo fi videos are the best…. ❤
I think I’ve been subbed almost as long as this video

Loved this tutorial :) Also, I never find any rude or mean comments when I come to your videos. We respect you so much Maria <3

Time goes by so fast. Started watching you (and ASMR in general) in 2013, around close to the time my Mom was in her last few weeks of life from her pancreatic cancer battle. I remember when you, Ally (ASMRrequests), Heather Feather, and FredsVoice (back then as WhisperMister) ruled the roost and were the earliest pioneers of internet ASMR. Few OGs remain these days so it's awesome to see some of the best ones still around today. YouTube is such a great time capsule to look back on. This was you at about 25 and now you're nearing 40 with a beautiful family you've grown, and still doing the thing you love. The most recent paper snowflake ASMR DIY video you did feels like such a full-circle moment for you after watching this one. Thanks for being a continuous comforting presence in our lives nearly over a decade and a half later. You're legendary. 🤙

Nine years later and I still watch this during the winter from around Christmas through Saint Patrick’s day. 💙 😁

You are a lady Bob Ross.  Your voice is,  not your hair.  Watching this,  all I could think was "happy little snowflakes". Love it. Thank you!
