This is the story of Prince Naseem Hamed, known as "The Prince"—one of the most vibrant, controversial, charismatic, and great featherweights in the history of boxing.

A proud barbarian in a loincloth, he arrogantly mocked his opponents, provoked fans and the entire boxing “establishment”, opposing himself to the established boxing traditions of Britain. Hamed's entrances to the ring were standalone showpieces. He flew into the ring on a carpet-plane, ascended on an elevator, drove in a car, emerged from a hole in the wall of a modeled temple; he was carried in on a throne... Dramatically appearing in his trademark leopard-print shorts, he somersaulted over ropes, landing in the ring—his natural element. And this was just the beginning, the celebration before the cruel punishment of anyone who stood in his way.
