and I stopped playing that AI slop fake shite at barely 28 seconds in

I don't shop in the big Supermarkets. I do most of my shopping in Lidl which is just a 5 minute walk from my home. Over the years they have really upped their game in the store layout and items for sale, and those items are far cheaper than the bigger stores.
I like that I can get a good selection of fresh products and a plenty of decent frozen products.
To shop at my nearest ASDA I need to get a taxi each way. So for that extra cost I only shop there once a month for the items that Lidl doesn't sell, like fresh liver, kidneys, certain kinds of dog treats and tinned Chinese items like Water Chestnuts and various sauces.
I'm in my 70's and I've been shopping at Lidl or Aldi since the late 70's, when my family and I lived in Germany during my Military days. I've been shopping at both stores since 1995 when we returned to the UK. I reckon that I save £100's per year on my annual shopping budget by ignoring the big stores.
But that's just my opinion.

Don't buy anything then - of course, shrinkflation is a thing. The alternative would be much bigger price hikes. Prices will always rise, depending on input costs, including energy and transport. Climate change has reduced harvest yields

What a laugh. Talk about spin.

It has always been the case that the major supermarket control prices.

The local grocers had to charge between 50% and 100% mark up just to survive.

Much of the mark up from supermarkets is to do with the devastating stupidity of Brexit.

The club card is to lock a person into shopping at their place. This idea goes back years and years... when I was a kid and did shopping for my mum, I would go to the Co Op. I would give our divi number. Then there was green stamps. That was in the 1960's

00:26  A very generic AI image. The proportions of the items are so wrong.
01:22  Big Ben clock tower place randomly on top of a building. All the shop signs are random squiggles.
01:32  I don't know what happen there. Did AI try to create a reflection?
02:57  All prices marked in dollars. Not a mistake a human would make.
04:01  Some sort of alien language?
06:06  Random advert for shopping baskets.
07:10  Random image of magazine covers.
07:31  Illegal price tags. No pound sign.
08:15  Not in pounds.
09:06 Asian supermarket.
I'm not going through all it.

Youtube channels have been weaponised against real people in postings like this. Trash AI slop. How did Big Ben become part of a high street.

More AI rubbish.
