He definitely deserved a golden buzzer and deserved to win the season. Such a shame his talent was not discovered earlier in life, he could have gone very far in broadway.

A classic Irish tenor voice. If this man had been discovered even just twenty years ago he could’ve had a huge career in opera. Remarkable.

This man puts professional singers to shame.

Should have been a golden buzzer . . .

Insane voice that lost millions of dollars over his lifetime . . .

Why no golden buzzer, guy was awesome

Its almost criminal that such talent has never been spotted before and supported. IMHO I'd have given him the Golden Buzzer!! THAT performance was astounding!! 👍

Amazing voice. Even though he had all 4 yeses, he totally deserved the gold buzzer. As Michelle said, he didn't even had to try

My first time hearing this, and this was a fabulous vocal. And it sounds so incredibly professional, as if this guy has been a star for 40 years.

His Voice is Bigger than any Golden Buzzer! BRILLIANT.

Unlike some of the modern singers, he doesn't need autotune.

That's how you make your grandkids proud, as if they weren't before! Astounding voice. At his age, a lot of professional singers have lost their voices. This guy still has his - and it's amazing.

Someone that age with that vocal control and range is rare. Amazing!

When I heard this man sing, I couldn't believe my ears. He's 68 years old and has a better voice than performers half his age. Well done, Matthew Dodd, you make me proud to be Irish!!!
