There has to be a way to use crochet kinky straight hair.... Maybe use each piece like an illusion crochet and just string the whole line down the braid. Or instead of pulling the string through once, take it down further and crochet it through maybe 3 times but not in the same spot.

Very good esp for your first try! Thank you for including the fails, it makes it more realistic.

I think it didn’t work initially because the knot was on the top, not the bottom where it would be hidden. It’s hard to tell, not sure.

In my opinion spending 45 minutes to straighten the curly hair when u could have done it on your head is unnecessary

I love the texture of the hair. But I think another mistake is that you insert the hook from the bottom of the part so the loop is on the wrong side. If you had insert it from the other side the loop would be hidden
