Idk why this was in my recommendation. But what you want us to do? Fund you a new trip?

Unpopular Opinion. You do NOT need a travel agent to book a vacation. Google is your friend. Idc what anybody says they’re a waste of money.

If it makes you feel any better this video came up in my recommendation so it might get alot of views

on a positive note, you stopped smoking. Congrats.

Crazy story, This is why I always book everything my self.

I’m a travel agent. Yes, you got scammed. I’m sorry babies. Hopefully u purchase travel insurance because normally when you decide to cancel they won’t refund your money.

I am sorry this happened to you. I book most of my vacation through Costco Travel and trust they take good care of you. Me and a friend did a 11 day trip to Italy, Rome Florence and Venice for $4K ( which was $2K each). This included the flight, 5 star hotels, first class train tickets to the cities, breakfast buffet and transportation from airport to hotel. The best trip ever!!

I think you saved your own life. You made the right decision!

TRUE STORY!! I use to be friendly to this girl in my building, basically hi & bye, so one day in passing we started talking about travel and I told her I was headed to New Orleans and she said “O can I go” so I said sure, why not. We exchanged numbers. She called me and asked if I could change the date, I said no, I had it planned already. So I told her the half of the room cost $500 and she said, I want to see it in writing, I said sure why not. Then she complained about airfare something told me to give her the money back but I didn’t, so when the trip came she asked for the confirmation number, I gave it to her, she asked me was I checking my bag, I said no, carry on, long story short we at the airport she went to the counter, taking a long time, I finally go over there why the agent calling her my name, I was like what’s going on. The agent looked and said are you trying to check your bag under her free check bag, don’t do that no more, I said girl, she gave me a attitude saying ain’t nobody using your name, I checked it by mistake 🤔 long story short the trip was horrible, she complained about everything, walking, where to go, & eating… I blocked her number as soon as I got back home.

If you pay with a credit card, contact your credit card company. And have them investigate and possibly get your money back

You right about everything. There is no way i would've continued the journey being scammed like that. Im def booking everything myself after hearing this story

people are so crazy playing with mfs money

People are treacherous I'm glad you still have your life. ❤
Hide your man, hide your kids, hide your money, don't trust any!

As A Flight Attendant I always plan my own trips. Of course you would think I know a lot about the travel industry being applied Attendant but economy travel is always free  for us, so truly there is not much that I know if I want to purchase my own business/ first class ticket. But what I will say is, I do feel like travel agents are scams to begin with. plan your own vacation that’s the best way. Always plan your own vacation. It’s not hard. When I tell you, I think travel agents are truly scam artists and I have some in my family. I just don’t tell them that I think that they are scam artist lol. Also consider anything that Zell or cash app a scam anytime anyone offers anything Zell or cash app just consider it a scam. If you can’t get it on Visa or PayPal or anything you can hold them accountable for and get a refund don’t do it.

She calls everything a red flag. I don't think she knows what that phase means. Flight delay due to fog is not a red flag.

I’ve traveled all over the world. I’ve also been scammed. The best thing you ever did was not go on that trip. Always trust your gut. You are very try self aware. Also, see if the bank can recoup and of your money. She’s saying 10 days but she’s been proven a liar so I wouldn’t trust her. Don’t blow up on her until you at least recover something. I can’t wait to see your future Bali video because I know you’re going to make it happen. Also in this day and age never truant a travel agent when there’s Expedia, Travelocity, trip advisor, so many resources. They’re all scamming and you might as well book it in your name so you can get the points and credits. ❤

Never tell people (in this case the travel agent) what you're thinking or what you will do....stay 10 steps ahead of the games!

Very sorry you had this experience. The real gems in your story are that you trusted yourself and that you keep a positive, elevated mindset even in the face of adversity. Sending Love and light. Stay elevated, sis.

Very wise of you for canceling that trip. Sometimes God will clean up house to make room for him. I pray you will have a beautiful encounter with the Lord and that he will bring people in your life that are trustworthy, kind and authentic.

Girl, I don’t even know you and I don’t know how you came upon my feed. But imma tell you right now, you are having a spiritual breakthrough. The trip was just another way of letting you know. I know you are  starting to see a shift, especially in the shedding of people around you that aren’t worthy. Once  that veil comes off your eyes, and you really truly SEE… you can never unsee it. There’s no going back. And it’s a new beginning from there. Best of luck ❤
