I was very fortunate to witness Anupji singing at a private party while I was seated next to him and the tabla Nawaz.
He simply had a handkerchief on the
harmonium which he used after every song to dry his face!!! He did not carry any books with the lyrics . What a great artist

I heard Anoop Jalota ji while he was a student at K.K. College, Lucknow before 1970 and used sing in Local Ochestra named Bright Orchestra.  He was senior to at College.
