✔ My heart aches when I think of the soldiers recently injured in an unexpected accident in the DMZ

▪️ We must reflect once again on the fact that the ordinary days we enjoy... stand upon someone else's danger

▪️ I offer my deepest condolences to their families while praying for their speedy recovery

▪️ The freedom and peace we enjoy today were not achieved by themselves

▪️ It is possible thanks to the sacrifices and dedication of fallen soldiers, founding elders, war veterans, and reservists who gave their lives for the nation and its people

✔ Peace and prosperity on this land... are things we create ourselves

▪️ It is about ensuring security and creating peace where there is no need to fight

▪️ We must find a path to victory together and build trust for peace on the Korean Peninsula

▪️ Our government will consistently continue to take practical measures to lower military tensions between the South and North

▪️ We will untangle the knots of inter-Korean relations with patience

▪️ On the path to restoring trust and resuming severed dialogue Expecting and Urging North Korea to Join In

✔ Advanced technologies such as AI, drones, and robots are completely changing the nature of warfare

▪️ The entire world is doing its utmost to redesign its military and achieve innovation in line with these changes

▪️ The demographic cliff and declining troop resources are challenges facing us

▪️ We will definitely leap forward as a smart, elite, and powerful military

▪️ Advanced development of the Korean-style 3-axis system capable of early detection, interception, and response to missile threats

▪️ We will accelerate the development of future military power to dramatically enhance deterrence and response capabilities led by our military

✔ We must establish a Korea Military Academy to cultivate world-class elite generals equipped with integrated operational capabilities

▪️ I urge swift and decisive action to push for the establishment of the Korea Military Academy by listening to various opinions and uniting the military's will

▪️ Shifting the troop structure to an officer-centered one by increasing technology-intensive non-commissioned officers through a selective volunteer system

▪️ Youth, Will allow soldiers to choose their preferred service method between enlisted soldiers and technology-intensive non-commissioned officers

▪️ Further strengthening reserve forces capabilities through the standing reserve system

✔ Guaranteeing soldiers' human rights and fundamentally improving service conditions

▪️ The government is actively pursuing systems to improve service conditions

▪️ Sacrifice for the country and the community... must not end as an individual sacrifice

▪️ National defense budget allocated at 73 trillion won, an 8.2% increase from the previous year

▪️ Will spare no necessary support

▪️ The state will stand with soldiers to ensure their dedication and sacrifice lead to honor and pride
