Giving kids autonomy in this day and age can get you arrested. There was a mom recently that had the cops called on her because she let her son walk across the street in their neighborhood unsupervised.

Simple, the parent figure is no more. Internet became it.

It's that childhood even in private has always been an awkward period for pretty much most of us but it was mostly never the wider public's business, with today's internet giving thousands of people access to pictures & videos of children navigating this period with sometimes sensitive private information about them getting shared, childhood for many people on social media became something to grow out of asap if you did not want to become a social pariah due to being seen as "cringe" for having typical child-like interests.

1 billion nights of warm pillows?? you're sick

three of those milestones are basically unobtainable because costs are insane.

As for making decisions and critical thinking, hears an interesting idea: The teacher should have students play a game the teach understands deeply, then have them review their match and describe why they did something at a given point.

“You’re built like a twinkle twinkle little star” 1. Got me rolling 😂😂😂 2. Couldn’t agree more with

Not only are so many kids not acting like kids anymore but but many kids don't even know what cartoons are. Have you seen that tick Tock of that NFL player talking to that little kid asking him what his favorite cartoon is and he has no idea what a cartoon is. When I saw that my jaw dropped and I be like man we need to get these kids back into cartoons who agrees ?  If you do then type #bring back childhood

How can they even navigate the internet and social media if they can't read. Do they just remember what the buttons do?

kids still explore nieghborhoods, go to friends homes and more

people called childish stuff cringe and corny, and once someone is called corny, death threats are sent their way and thus they become zombified

One thing you NEED to remember when taking about what kids are doing today is, kids imitate/mimic what the adults are doing in there lives but now it’s not just the adults in there lives it’s also the adults online so you need to keep that into account

Why is bad when kids learn to be more mature? Why is it bad when a kid is "too childish"? Why is it when a child participates in a innocent trend, they get hated on? Why is it when a adult participates on the same trend no one bats an eye? Why is it when a child had a bad mental health people excuse it as "it's just a bad day" or "You're just making it up" but when a older person vents they get comfort instead of receiving the same treatment? Why is when a child is throwing a tantrum because they lost in a game considered imature but when a older person rages over a game somehow it's relatable? It's not how the child behaves. It's how the society treats them...

I’m Gen Z I grew up with going outside and riding mini vehicles like 4 wheelers and playing Xbox games like trailmakers and goat simulator.

in my area all kids have the core skills

My mom always said “act like an adult!”

It is tragic to see the demise of childhood, and replacing it with tiktok and influencer culture. I grew up in the 60s and 70s and we were very independent and unsupervised. Was that a good thing? The world changed and that freedom that we had is fraught with new dangers. I would like to see fewer kids with noses to smartphones and tablets, but will it happen? probably not. However, if one child manages to break that horrible cycle then it is one that may become a functioning adult. This obession with skincare is exploitation and totally unneccessary, but if tiktok says something then it must be true. Maybe somebody should start a tiktok trend for reading books, touching grass and experiencing nature..

Pretending is easy, actually being an adult is hard. These kids are softer than a pillow.

Built like a twinkle twinkle little star ✨😂😂😂

They don’t even talk like kids anymore, all their phrases and body language are so imprinted on that one influencer and completely lack of individuality….

i have never seen sephora kids
