I never really hear anything negative from the metal fans about rap because yall understand what it means to express anger and sadness in ways that aren’t politically correct.

holy shit your early rant on intelligibility of first listens is so spot on. a perfect way to say that

I'm a huge metal person. BUT I love Kendrick and i thought his show was a piece of protest art..so much was intentional. It was brilliant. PLUS his smile at the camera  with eye contact when he said say drake was diabolical.  Your reaction is refreshing AF. Thank you for your thoughts.

thank you for not judging us for being black.

Man i knew my fellow metalheads would vibe with this. I don't typically listen to rap as a metalhead myself but Kendrick is an exemption. That man's lyricism is out of this fucking world

Don’t know if anyone said it but the whole stage was over 60 yards! He covered that entire thing with amazing breath control!

I am a metalhead and a rap fan. I have always felt the convergence. If you aren’t qualified for the show, then you just aren’t. How does it feel? “Act like the voice is just another instrument.” I fkn LOVE THAT.

I relate heavily with your music taste. I go from headbanging to Periphery to crying to Kendrick. The Mr. Morale album changed my life. He's really one of a kind

I dont get the comments saying they couldnt understand him. He sounds completely normal to me. Coherent english. 🤷🏻

As a black female I must say I really enjoyed watching you check out Kendricks live performance. I love how open minded you and your girl are when it comes to music. Trust me none of us understand everything Kendricks complex azz is saying in all his lyrics without a little help from Genius lol. 😂😂 I have to watch 5 - 10 reaction breakdown videos before I catch on to most of it and I learn about stuff and ppl I never even knew about. Like Daft Punk and Teezo Touchdown. Never knew these ppl existed

before listening to Euphoria the first dis song Kendrick released towards Drake. But his rap style and delivery and beat selection are always top tier to me. Thanks for sharing your experience with us. For the love of music. Great reaction video. 💯

It was educational, cultural, petty, diabolical, brilliant. One thing we will always do celebrate us. Next year I say we have an all indigenous Super Bowl halftime show.😊😊😊

Thank you for roasting the old people so I don't have to! As a person who loves most types of music, these people complaining about the music because they don't like it, vexes me completely! I've been making rounds on reactions and commenting that, it's hilarious people are making the very comments that Kendrick anticipated! Samuel L. Jackson was literally a stand in for people refusing the accept Kendrick for who he is, a dark skinned, conscious rapper, from Compton, California! I couldn't understand is a coded message for I didn't want to hear it, period!

This is such a refreshing reaction to Kendrick wow…Good Work man🥺

“Mustard on the beat, ya bish.” Just earned a sub 😂

This performance was fire.🔥

SOME PEOPLE BRAINS ARE JUST BROKEN ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

The algorithm has been working quite well this week. Glad I got to see your reaction! The advice to "act like the voice is another instrument" resonated with me.  Mahalo for that!

Not a rap fan, but that was straight 🔥

People asking why he didn’t diversify his performance cracks me up. Because the whole point of kendrick having only black performers in his show brings more context to his words and message he is sending to everyone. This is to focus on bIack people, bIack american culture and him elevating the bIack americans in a positive light. Especially during bIack history month. Because had they had artists like lil wayne performing, all it will highlight is everything negative and degenerate that gets elevated all the time about the bIack community, culture and people. Kendrick was showing bIack people aren’t one dimensional and only degenerate beings.

The fact that I saw several videos of MAGA folks saying they wanted Trump and the Village People to do YMCA at halftime instead of Kendrick told me everything I needed to know about why they didn’t like the halftime show.
