The Toyota C-HR+ is the brand’s latest and most competitive EV yet!
Although it shares its name with the popular hybrid SUV, the C-HR+ is larger and on Toyota’s global EV platform, (e-TNGA electric Toyota New Global Architecture) which is also used by the bZ4x.
With a range of up to 376 miles WLTP combined, it’s in line with popular competitors such as the KIA EV3, Skoda Elroq & Renault Scenic E-Tech.
3 trims are available; Icon (only available with the smaller 57.7 kWh battery), Design & Excel, both of which are equipped with the long range 77kWh battery.
I was impressed with refinement & the standard equipment and most importantly the value for money, with the C-HR+ starting at just £32,995, currently qualifying for the £1,500 Government EV Grant adding to the appeal!
Outside Toyota’s daring design looks great, however the interior is a little bland, but well built like many Toyota models. It’s great though to see Toyota seem to finally be taking EVs seriously with the C-HR+ holding up to a lot of the competition.
Thanks to Toyota UK for making this video possible!
