We picked up a 1965 Volkswagen Baja Bug that hasn’t run in YEARS… so naturally we’re trying to fire it up and bring it back to life.
We picked this car up for $1,000. It hasn’t run in years, and in today’s video we get it running and driving down the road again for the first time in years!

I'm not sure I abandoned it, it was in my driveway the entire time before I sold it lol Great video though, glad to see she's finally got some life back in her! I hope you keep working on it, there's a lot you can (and should) do!

I was yelling, raise that trailing arm with a jack... I owned a California 1962 Baja Bug in early 80's. Wish I still had it.

That’s horse hair in the seats. That’s the smell you smell inside. 😎

I'm 62 years old, and I am JEALOUS! I would be popping to have a bug as nice as this for what you paid. Here in New England finding anything this old that isn;t a complete rust bucket is a true treasure find. Just into the video 20 minutes and looking forward to the rest and future videos.

Liking the channel young'un, and it's nice to hear someone the other side of the pond using the word knackered how we Brits do.

The odd placement of the trail lights and turns signals is perplexing and very curious.
