Building the 1/35 Border Model Flakpanzer IV "Kugelblitz" (Kit BT-039).
While the Panzer IV chassis, suspension, and link-and-length tracks went together smoothly, the infamous ball turret assembly turned out to be an absolute nightmare. Between misaligned seams, tight internal clearances, and fighting the spherical housing, this build almost went straight into the bin.
In this video, I walk you through the full assembly, highlight the biggest fit issues with this kit, and show how I tackled the seams and filler work before getting it ready for primer.

Sehr interessant, zu sehen wie gut oder schlecht so ein moderner Bausatz sein kann.
Ich möchte mir diesen Bausatz auch zulegen, bin aber jetzt etwas skeptisch ob der sein Geld wert ist. Die erkennbaren Probleme beim Turm sind ja echt heftig.😮
Kleine Anmerkung:
Du hast hinten links am Panzer die Rohrreinigung für die 7,5cm Kanone montiert, die gehört da nicht hin bzw komplett weg.
Eine längliche Staukiste ähnlich dem Wirbel oder Ostwind Flakpanzer wäre dort genau richtig. 😉
