In this video, I show you some tips for mixing your own natural looking greens with watercolour.
Pre-mixed green can often look slightly synthetic, mixing your own will bring life to your paintings and give a more natural feel.
I give a short demonstration on achieving realistic colour mixing, then create a full painting, using the same mixes to achieve as much variation as possible.

Dear Christopher, spend a very nice time painting along with you, fascinating how the layering of teh colors gave such deepness and contrast to the final painting. As a beginner it's very frightening to go over the first washes but that's a fantastic lesson !

Thanks Stephen. I am amazed by your water control and artistry. The blue/green palette is appreciated by those of us who live in New England and spend time in the mountains and woods. The blue/burnt sienna palette is perfect for our winters (at least this year ❄️) as well!
