"Violence is never the first answer but its a damn good second" -my bus driver

All the Millennial stuff is true. We're not teenagers anymore. We're old enough to have kids, some of those kids are in middle school now. Millennial DOESN'T mean "annoying young people these days." We didn't ask for participation trophies. We went to college because we were told it was best. Now many of us can't pay our student loans or afford houses. We're not lazy. We're trapped in a job market/economy where most job openings are in low-wage service and sales and minimum wage and the poverty line hasn't kept pace with inflation. It's harder to survive than any time since the Great Depression ended, and they call us lazy because we aren't thriving? The world has changed, it's not easy to make it any more. I would love to own a home and have kids. Life didn't work out that way. That's not my fault. I'm disabled. And that's not my fault either.
The section before that, about women expecting men to take vague hints, pursue them despite being turned down, etc. being wrong is also true. Technically everyone's bad at mind-reading, so expecting your SO or prospective SO to read your mind is generally not a good idea. (But we all do it from time to time. My best friend is learning to not expect her husband to read her mind all the time, so she's getting better. I was pretty bad at communicating properly to my ex too.) Whoever it was who said it was right: poor communication isn't sexy. And girls who want men to prove they're desirable by pursuing them or fighting over them are immature and need to grow up.

As a special needs kid, that first one hurt. I'm not wheelchair bound, but I struggle with coordination and balance. By her logic, neither me or my sister would be cared for because she has depression

If you see a clerk catching grief from a rude customer, try to get the clerk's name, contact the manager and tell them the clerk was polite and professional, and that the customer was rude. Give the time and other details.
This goes a long way...

An old friend reached out and decided to say “I’m just worried you’re not living your life in a god honoring way” .......... thx for reminding me why I don’t want to talk to you anymore <3

Woah...
A girl with thick, athletic legs is my type! Don't be mad at those toothpick girls.

oh wow, I see my mom in so many of these

4:50 Drives drunk, causes an accident and flees the scene, brags about it and insults OP when called an idiot.

Guess who is giving a tip to the police about a hit and run accident?

The ghosting one gets me.  It was a fwb relationship,  so not "serious " per say, but I had been over for lunch and "desert", and they got a call for a job interview the next week. We were excited and had another quickie before I had to go catch my train home.  We texted over the weekend, laughing that I forgot my sweater at her place, so we were going to meet for lunch after her interview and could get it back then.  I sent a good luck text Monday night and ... that was it.  Never heard back,  never got my sweater, nothing...

The sovereign citizen and his son that killed the two policemen were also killed later that day.

The Pakistani guy's reaction to learning about periods was so heartwarming. (54:01 for those who want to see)

3:16 I was born female. My body has always been very muscular. My chest is often mistaken for pectorals.
I’m literally over 6feet tall. I’ve fortunately never felt insecure about my body, actually I was quite proud of it.

that tide pod mess will still never make any type of sense to me

The first one made me mad, already. What the hell.

No one should have to choose between food and the doctor.
Welcome to America.

It absolutely appals me how people knowingly admit to abusing animals. I have three cats and two dogs, and I've also had birds, turtles, guinea pigs, mice, rabbits, and even a chinchilla and an iguana at one point, but those were brought home to be cared for by my mom when she worked at Petsmart and they were sick but the vet area was overflowing with sick animals. My husky and one of my old cats both got mauled by my neighbor's dog at different times. My husky nearly lost her back leg, and my cat nearly lost his life. After their surgeries, I did all of their aftercare. My husky just got brought home after a few months and had to go back to the vet every once in a while to get her bandages replaced, but my cat had to have an oral antibiotic and an injection, both of which i gave him every single day. I have a pitbull now, and he gets his meals personally cooked by me because regular dog food makes him horribly sick, and it's actually cheaper for me to cook for him anyway. If i suspect anything is wrong with my animals, I get them to the vet immediately. I simply don't understand how people can abuse animals and brag about it. My animals are part of my family, no matter where they came from, even if they were strays. I willingly let a feral cat come up to my porch to eat some cat food, and if I ever can, I'll trap it and take it to the vet to get it sterilized and vaccinated and release it back outside, but I'm not sure if it will ever let me get close. My other cats don't mind when it eats the cat food. I've rescued two pitbull puppies from an abusive owner that was going to shoot them if he couldn't find someone to take them. I found them homes where they'll be loved and never have to worry if they'll be picked up by the neck and thrown across the room. I've threatened to throw my own aunt out of my house because she hit my dog simply because he walked too close to her. People who abuse animals are the scum of the earth. I will always choose my animals over people any day, they are my family and I will throw hands with anybody that dares to hurt them

Growing up my brother used to straight up bully me. When I was 13 he apologized and we had this really wholesome moment, until 2 weeks later he got mad at me for something and I swear his exact words were "I'm tired of you, you're not even worth the effort!" To this day, he insists he didn't say that. But RIGHT after he said this to me I went to my dad and told him. My dad insisted I was making it up. I told him he doesn't care about me and I'm just a joke to him. He told me not to say that and accused me of just trying to get him in trouble. I'm 28 and he said last week that my brother "wasn't that bad growing up". My dad wonders why I don't like opening up to him

My adoptive aunt is technically a boomer but because she used to work at Verizon, she's the only one I know that isn't technology illiterate. Like me, she too uses YouTube, Google (the search engine, although other engines like Firefox and MS Edge can work too), and any other relevant online resource she can find as a research tool. The rest of the boomers in my life, most of which are school teachers, couldn't figure out how to turn a stereo on by themselves if their lives depended on it.

A teacher decided the sitting plans for a lesson and I was stuck on a table with one of the popular girls. I was a goody-two shoes who kept her head down, did as she was told and tried to get good marks.
Most tables have six or so people on them but this was just me and her. I didn't speak unless spoken to and she ignored me for a lot of the lesson, but boredom got the better of her and we casually talked during the work.
I don't remember what we talked about, just normal stuff about day to day life, but I remember what she said at the end of the lesson; 'You know, you're not so bad after all' and I was like 'Thanks!' but even as she said it, it got me wondering; I was 'bad' to you and that's why you bullied me? You knew not a goddamed thing about me but you assumed me bad or wrong? Is it like this with all the other bullies I have, that I somehow deserve it?

You know. It's funny to me when people who have worked in retail saying something about the horrible customers and supporting retail workers against them, but then go on to say "I have a real job now". To me this shows that they have the same dismissive attitude toward retail workers as the people they are complaining about, but are just better at hiding it.
