One of the many examples of comic genius to grace the world of entertainment from these two - brilliant stuff.

This is BRILLIANT! love these 2 guys. RIP Ronnie Barker :(

I'd never seen this sketch before and I LOVE it!  Five out of five stars.  The Two Ronnies were LEGENDS!

R.I.P. Ronnie Barker.

Saw this at the gym without sound, so thought I'd check it out, so glad I've seen this!

Oooh! Patrick Troughton. Fab! Never seen this sketch before.

Totally agree!  The Fork Handles and Mastermind sketches have to be some of the best comedy sketches ever made.  This one's pretty cool too!

probably one of my favourite sketches ever!

It was a return visit for him; he was also in "The Curse of Peladon" with Jon Pertwee back in the 70's.

I've seen this sketch many times, but I only just realised that the judge is Patrick Troughton (the Second Doctor from Dr Who).
Some of the gameshows are largely forgotten:
1) What's My Line? (guess someone's job)
2) Mastermind (rapid-fire questions on a subject)
3) Call My Bluff (guess the definition of an obscure word)
4) Blankety-Blank (guess what word someone else used to complete a sentence)
5) Give Us A Clue (charades)
6) It's A Knockout ("play your joker" in a round to double your points)
7) The Price Is Right ("come on down!")
Gaffes:
1) the judge is wearing a barrister's wig
2) no judge in England uses a gavel
3) the defendant is standing in the witness box
4) lawyers don't walk around the courtroom
5) er...  court trials don't include gameshow references.

I find this hilarious to see the Two Ronnies and Patrick Troughton doing this sketch

A truely brilliant sketch! Must've watched it a billion times, had no idea Patrick was the Judge. Thanks for uploading.

God bless Patrick Troughton and Ronnie Barker! :D x

I thought the judge looked and sounded familiar! He did a lot of TV work over the years, but I had no idea that he worked with The Two Ronnies! Excellent!

The show those skits appeared on was "Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In," which premiered in 1968, three years before "The Two Ronnies" hit the screen.

I believe it was Pat's son, David Troughton, who appeared in "Curse of Peladon" as a return visit after appearing in "War Games," his dad's last appearance on the show (until "The 3 Doctors," "The 5 Doctors" and "The 2 Doctors" of course).

great sketch

I've seen the the "Here Come da Judge" routine that Sammy did which was originally done by Pigmeat Markham.  The Two Ronnies courtroom sketch was sharp and funny.

my boyfriend is from Biggleswade.  The name still makes me chuckle :)

Absolutely hilarious1  This is so ridiculous and fun!

Ronnie Barker a pure GENIUS

You know you are famous when Doctor Who is your judge
