This time, I took a 2-night, 3-day trip to Ikaho Onsen in Gunma Prefecture.
My trip started with Mizusawa udon noodles, then I visited Mizusawa Kannon Temple, Kajika Bridge, and finally the stone steps of Ikaho.
At the Moriaki Ryokan where I stayed, I enjoyed the famous "Golden Hot Spring" of Ikaho, along with a leisurely dinner featuring Joshu beef and local Gunma sake.
In the hot spring town, I indulged in Ikaho's unique street food, such as Yunohana manju (steamed buns filled with sweet bean paste), stone-grilled curry, and tamakonnyaku (konjac balls).
While a 1-night hot spring trip can sometimes feel a bit rushed, a 2-night stay allowed me to enjoy the hot springs and the town at my own pace without feeling rushed.

水沢うどんから始まり、水沢観音、河鹿橋、そして伊香保の石段街へ。
宿泊した森秋旅館では、伊香保の名湯「黄金の湯」とともに、上州牛をはじめとした夕食や群馬の地酒もゆっくり楽しみました。
温泉街では、湯の花まんじゅうや石焼きカレー、玉こんにゃくなど、伊香保ならではの食べ歩きも満喫。
ゆっくり温泉に浸かって、美味しいものをいただいて、気になる場所をのんびり巡る。
