Congratulations on getting through Chris's campaign, Runie! The Resident Evil series is very important to me. Particularly the first three games.

When I was 9 years old, my middle brother came to me and told me that my cousin, who at the time lived in a guest house on my property, had rented Resident Evil 3 from Blockbuster. This was right when the game had been released. So we went over and watched her and her husband play it. And we were accompanied by our oldest brother before long.

We were all instantly enamored by the game. A couple months later, at around Christmas time, my mother, cousin, brothers, and I were out Christmas shopping, and my oldest brother asked to go to Blockbuster on the way home. There, he rented Resident Evil 2, and we took it over to my cousin's house to play it.

The next year on my brother's birthday, which is close to Christmas my my cousin got him a copy of the first Resident Evil for his birthday. We, of course, took it over to her house to play it with them. So, over the course of about 2 years, we ended up playing the first three Resident Evil games in reverse order at around Christmas time.

I didn't really have a good relationship with my brother's growing up. And it wasn't simply sibling rivalry. There was always always a lot of tension between us. But when we were over at my cousin's house playing the Resident Evil games, all of that tension disappeared. I think that's why the series is so important to me.

Playing the first three Resident Evil games around Christmas time has become sort of a tradition for me. I haven't really been able to do it in the past couple of years because things have been a bit crazy but I'm looking forward to getting back to it this year.

Congrats on finishing RE 1 again with no deaths. It's bittersweet there will be no more RE 1 streams since they were some of the coziest streams to date. But I'm excited for the next RE adventure to get started. Thanks for playing my favorite RE. I'll miss the Weskser down bad moments for a while.

Runie you should add RE 0 And Revelations 1&2 to your RE games list for the future, even if you don't get to them before RE9 release. i got a feeling that Reve2 might become one of your favorites.
RE0 is a prequel that leads to the first game. Reve1 is between 4&5 while Reve2 is between 5&6. Also RE9 is bringing characters and elements from RE Outbreak a game none thought it mattered or was even canon.
