Before she became a global superstar at Chelsea Women, Sam Kerr was redefining what dominance looked like in the National Women's Soccer League.
From a teenage phenom with the Western New York Flash to a record-breaking force with Sky Blue and the Chicago Red Stars, Kerr helped shape the first era of the NWSL while becoming one of the greatest goal scorers the league has ever seen.
This episode explores how Kerr’s rise changed the league, why her peak still feels unmatched, and whether the modern NWSL is finally ready for her return.

This is a very, very, very high-quality video really good A+
Sam Kerr assisted or had a role in two of those goals. She’s just an offensive genius a total machine.
I think you could’ve gone a bit more in depth too on how she dominated the W league before she came to the NWSL
When you look at her ability to score goals with her head or just play the game with her head I put her way up there with Abby wombat Michelle acres Alexandra Popp and Sam Kerr
However, all of those other women are 5 9 to 5 10 1/2 and 150+lbs and I believe Sam is 5,6”?
Excellent, excellent excellent mini documentary . I’ll be looking for this site and I’ll be looking for this journalist in the future.
