The whole album. Period.

The line - Cry for me, cry for me/You said you'd die for me/Give to me, give to me/Why won't you live for me? re-wired my brain and really changed my perspective regarding priorities in my relationship.

I need him to listen to the ENTIRE album it’s too good

Her voice is angelic - what a gift from God.❤

I love when singers don’t sing perfect. I seek out those who are authentic with their voice, there is just a certain vibe and quality to them.

"To Zion" is my favorite song from this album ❤

Lauryn was recently honored at the BET Awards with a special tribute. Honestly, the show was boring until it reached Lauryn's tribute but I wanted to see her get her flowers. At the end of the show, she said I'm gonna perform for ya'll. She stepped up to the 🎤  like a boss and sang her butt off.

BTW, two of her kids performed. They are the grandchildren of Bob Marley.

Neo soul is also people like Maxwell, Erykah Badu, Floetry .. some good ones to get into

The important thing with Neo-Soul is that it makes you FEEL. You know, emotions. Today's music forgot about the importance of emotional connection. Just listen to D'Angelo if you want to know what Neo-Soul is. But actually, Neo-Soul also describes that group of artists, including those BP listed, who are friends and who are supportive community. I'll add Raphael Saadiq, Anthony Hamilton, and Bilal.

Oh my, Lauryn Hill ... those are voices no one could ever forget.

I saw her live about 6 years ago in Nola. She had a bad cold but decided to show up anyway. She sang every song an octave lower since she couldn’t hit highs. And she crushed it. Her Bob Marley medley was 🔥.

She was strummin his pain

PERFECT ALBUM FRONT TO BACK

This was the defining album of my Highschool years

Her voice is absolute perfection!

Lauren Hill was my childhood crush. Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous

Loving how you're appreciating the raw pure talent that is Lauryn. I absolutely love "imperfections" in talented musicians. They make the music REAL. We need that!!!

I am like Pegasus, when she sings I start having a moment.

An all time classic. Lauren Hill top 5 female vocalist all time

I saw Lauryn Hill on the Miseducation tour in 1998 or 99, can't remember, but holy shit. she had a full brass band! I was 15. Outkast opened, I had no idea who they were, but Andre was wearing these huge raffia pants. I was entranced. My first concert!!!
This album... damn.
