The ending scene is incredibly touching knowing it was Mel’s final appearance prior to Geoffrey Hutching’s death.
There’s a real arguement to say the entire show should have ended here; all the characters have good endings and the show was never quite as good again.

Absolutely gutted to learn that Kenny Ireland - Donald - lost his battle against cancer. He helped make the show and it won't be the same without him. God bless Kenny...

Great ending, but so sad, knowing 'Mel' died after this, a great funny actor.

R.I.P Geoffrey Hutchings, brilliant actor sadly missed by all.

Both Donald and Mel died in  the show, then died in IRL

The ending of this will always get me.
Not only because the series and their holiday came to a close, but because Geoffrey Hutchins died after filming this due to Meningitis. Such a national treasure ❤

This episode always puts a lump in my throat to think that Geoffrey Hutchings who played Mel Harvey died in real life " not long after this episode was aired .
RIP Jeffrey Hutchings

I watch these over and over and still love them

The deputy mayor was funny

Watching all the series in lockdown 2020

Keith Barron appearing was a nod to his Spanish themed show Duty Free

RIP Geoffrey Hutchings ^ Mel :/

rip in peace mel harvey

"Only you cant hear ya self think with all that..silly...B******S goin' on!" 😂😂😂😂😂

Absolutely  fantastic .,what brilliant  comedy! Another series  please. In Memory  of Mel and Donald  r.i.p.

Mel was awesome he was a great Benidorm character

33:42. One of the only times Mel called Madge out on her snarky comments. LOl

British comedy at its best!

“With all that silly bollocks going on” 😂😂😂😂😂

The will never be anything else made to match this wonderful series.  The humour/mix of British culture and the honesty to laugh at ourselves and others was a strength now sadly lost to modern script writers.  The one thing we must remember is not to over watch Benidorm now, as in years to come this safety net of pure comedy will be a blessing to watch, again & again.
