Yank here. Visited the area in 2003. Beautiful trip. It’s like being in a totally new country. Would love to return. Thank you for the video.

As a Perth local even I found this full of interesting bits thank you

First documentary ive ever seen about SW Australia looks very nice ,trouble is youve let the secret out now everyone is gonna want to go there 😊😊😊❤❤❤

I went out to the whaling station in the late 1960s. It was off season and everything was scrubbed down and locked up. It still reeked to high heaven.

Canadian here: did almost the same road trip in 2023 with my daughter who lives in Esperance (I was foolish enough to join her in climbing Frenchman's Peak!). Lovely video, makes me want to get back there soon.

From UK. Did that trip the other way round about 15yrs ago. Pretty similar itinerary, but I’d recommend the Stirling Ranges and Porongurup as well. Really recommend that area.

Randomly selects a vineyard to visit... and ends up at Leeuwin Winery.

Love to Australia, the lucky country from Malaysia 🥰

What a charmingly beautiful and sparsely populated part of the world!  Thanks for sharing.

This scenic route is absolutely stunning! It surpasses even Melbourne's Great Ocean Road!

awesome , thanks.

My great x3 grandparents were the first European couple to settle in Albany.  🇳🇿

How I wish it had been filmed in the summertime, but superbly done, thank you. I will forever miss Australia my home country, been many years since I was there, but it fills my dreams. God Bless Australia.

Funnily enough, the bold rescue of shipwreck survivors on horseback by Grace Bussel in 1876 sounds very similar to the equally bold rescue by rowing boat (in the Farne Islands, NE England) of Grace Darling in 1838.
And that Grace became a national celebrity, having saved the lives of nine people...

Thank you for this look at a part of the world I know little about and to someone like myself on the east coast of Canada, literally half a world away. The coastal scenery is spectacular. The rock formations are striking. What strikes me is how few people one sees in the midst of nature’s wonders. It looks quite deserted. I’m sorry you received so many snarky comments.

Love it. Forced to take shelter in a local pub. Love it.

What a delightful little summary of your adventure you put together. Allow me to say I thoroughly enjoyed it. And your
commentary was informative and presented in a gentle manner. I must say the musical backing was in harmony with
the casual manner of your presentation as well. You are an accomplished cinematographer, Thank you indeed!

Done the very same road trip many times so really enjoyed your video. A long time Albany local once told me Misery beach got its name due to the massive swarms of mozzies that plague anyone camping/fishing overnight there.

Wow…I must have said wow about 10 times during this video. Seems you didn’t have the best luck with the weather, but what an amazing place Australia is!

Always wanted to explore this part of Australia on the Indian Ocean.
