I am a retired U.S. Army Sergeant First Class (SFC) and former U.S. Border Patrol agent. I served with the 2nd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, deploying three times—twice to Afghanistan and once to Iraq. After my active-duty service, I joined the Army Reserves as a Drill Sergeant. In my civilian career, I became a U.S. Border Patrol agent and later specialized as a Tactical Medic with the Border Patrol Search, Trauma, and Rescue (BORSTAR) team, focusing on high-risk operations and medical emergencies.

This is badass I live in the rgv every time I travel I get to see border patrol but seeing it from this perspective is just so cool it feels like live pd or cops good job
I have worked with USBP since 2006 off and on as a national guardsman. I also have several combat tours overseas with the army and contracting with other agengies. My time working the "frontera" has been more consequential to securing the nation than any of my title 10 deployments or contracting time. I am proud of the USBP, this is the best federal agency, with the best people. Definitely the grunts of the federal government.
