people when a kid supposed to represent depression is actually depressed

Hot take: For what he is to the story, Jogo is one of the most well executed characters Gege wrote. Separate but related, but Jogoat memes will never stop being funny.

Bruh ruined the silence ASMR

No but fr megumi is one of the funniest characters in this series man he sees someone he probably can't beat and goes fuck it we ball or runs away 😭

It's not that Higuruma had potential to rival Gojo, it was that his talent rivals Gojo's talent, he was able to pick up on very advanced techniques incredibly quickly, but his ceiling was always going to be far below Gojo's simply because of how absurdly strong Six Eyes + Limitless is.

Also remember that it's unfair comparison with Modulo because it works on the rails that were laid by the original so doesn't need to waste neither time nor pacing on exposition, mechanics, lore and escalation. It still does them, but even then they are understandable through what we already know. We were dealing with cursed spirits for long enough so we can describe Kalians as just Cursed Spirits with flesh. We don't need to explain how strong Dabura is because we spent time showing off Sukuna and now just can say "he's literally him, no cap, fr". We were exploring Gojo's character as the strongest but we already know who's the strongest of Modulo is and don't need exposition on Yuji. We don't need to wait for late season 2 to show main villain vs Mahoraga because all set up is done preemptively so Dabura can just go at it. And so on, and so on.

I’d agree with the Geto take on the stance that he’s one of the best written characters in the entire series.

We get to see him prior to becoming a villain, understand all of his motivations and get to see him sit in that moral dilemma of how to stop curses from existing before he transitions to evil

We get to see him interact with every special grade and understand the full depth of his character

And finally via Kenjaku we get to see what could’ve been his full potential had he stayed alive and remained a sorcerer.

Geto just feels so fulfilling.

3:23 i wont lie i like being that guy, kenjaku is yuji's mother

I’ve seen people say the megumi trashing is just joking but I really don’t think so.
I feel like that’s ignoring that a significant chunk of the fanbase are posers and they’ll just believe anything-
So if you’re spreading information like Megumi being a bum even as a joke, they’ll take that seriously and spread it as a fact.
Some of the jokes actually make the fanbase look extremely bad.

Who is here after the audio incident😅??

8:00 this might be slightly controversial, but mahito surviving the direct soul EXPLOSION after using a full domain expansion against mechumaru was a death sentence. Its completely just horrible writing and plot armor that kept mahito alive there, and especially mahito having enough energy to come back and fight 1 on 1 with mechumaru like 1 minute after

hot take but the ending of jjk is just gonna be another version of the attack on titan's manga ending where it's hated when it came out but when the anime is out it will be loved

One of the biggest reason I don't like Megumi's character is because of his minimal payoff. I mean, it's great that he won against depression the second time around but his final actual physical fight was with Reggie and the whole build up of how his domain is slowly getting better was just left out. I fully thought Megumi was gonna learn barrierless domain since Sukuna actually managed to use his body's potential but he didn't really get to do much in the final arc. This is still a battle shonen and fights are one of the thing Gege excels most at

Merry Christmas and dont ask me what happened to the audio in the last upload... I unced out... See you in 2026 and thanks for an awesome 2025!

Hot Take:
Dagon needed one more fight (in his womb form maybe), would of been nice to dee him being more developped more even in his womb form (since he still has a domain), i love him so much but he was really wasted

Lmao I knew I'm getting jumped for Gojo's offscreen. For more context he's my favorite character but since he got caught off guard so badly I imagine that's exactly how he saw it. He thought he won and seconds later he was at the airport, just like readers.
And I don't even mean people who dislike Geto, more like people who claimed he had no reason to turn evil because yes, they exist

there was never a video without the narration

16:10 ABSOLUTE CINEMA

Personally I think it's closer to Bleach in terms of the way JJK is popular. And I don't mean in literal numbers but in aesthetic and feel.

My hot take is that Yuta in Gojo's body was a good writing decision.

It showed character regression and why Yuta could never be and shouldn't be the strongest since he interprets "being a monster" as being an actual monster and putting himself in suffering (like in JJK0) meanwhile others interpret it as just freedom.
