Drake’s shoulder or not, Patriots are dealing with multiple players with injuries this is concerning…

Drake wouldn't wait too long to throw if receivers were open. If Josh didn't design and call vanilla plays with the 2nd lowest motion in the league. Our eyes are not deceiving us, Josh is calling very simple plays with little motion and misdirection, easy to defend. Even the Browns use sweeps and tosses to get the ball in their speedy players hands. Patriots called Zero RB screens or jet sweeps last week. Just 2 RB passes against the steelers. Josh keeps the RB in the backfield blocking, rarely let's them leak out for check downs.

When looking at his career numbers in 13 total games against teams that finished the year above .500 (including the playoffs):

16 Fumbles: He has put the ball on the ground a staggering 16 times in just 13 games.

50 Sacks Taken: He has been dropped 50 times against winning opponents, averaging nearly 4 sacks allowed per game. In the 2025 playoffs alone, that number spiked to over 5 sacks per game.

29 Total Turnovers: Between his 13 interceptions and 16 fumbles against winning teams, he averages over 2 turnovers per game when facing top-tier competition.

The main reason Maye put up MVP-runner-up numbers in 2025 (4,394 yards, 31 TDs, 8 INTs) was a highly favorable schedule. In terms of points or yards allowed, Maye did not face a single top-10 defense during the entire 2025 regular season. He feasted on weak and average units, inflating his efficiency metrics.

The "easy schedule" excuse has vanished in 2026, as Maye has opened the season against back-to-back exceptional defenses—and the results have been catastrophic.

Through three games against tough defensive schemes (Seahawks, Steelers, and Jaguars), Maye has looked completely lost:

2026 Stat lines:  Passer Rating  58.6,  Touchdowns 1 (Tied for 33rd in NFL),  Interceptions 6 (Leads the NFL),  Total Turnovers  7 (Leads the NFL)!

When Maye isn't facing a top-10 defense, he plays like an elite pocket passer. But when a top-10 defense takes away his first read, his mechanics break down. He holds onto the ball too long (leading to sacks), struggles with underthrowing deep balls, and forces passes into tight coverage.

He is not and can never be considered an ELITE, OR TOP TIER QB UNTIL he proves he can decipher an elite defensive game plan CONSISTENTLY!  A one or two game outlier here and there just doesn't cut it!

JUST THE FACTS!

Rumors of shoulder for months going back to last year. Drake non answers
Now on injury report and we think there is nothing there? 😅😅

LOL 🤣Gonzo and Barmore are both out Sunday against the Bills

Yes! Sanity at last.

It all stems from the team rushing Will Campbell back last year and the resulting sack-fest and strip sacks in the playoffs as DE/LBs pushed right through and around Will often. They shot Drake’s shoulder up and limped thru the Super Bowl. And deciding treatment vs. surgery this winter/spring….and not keeping Diggs and trading Boutte away. Just a comedy of errors and misfortune.

I can’t believe Caleb Lomu was our first round pick and he’s a massive project.
Like how do you draft a Tackle with your first round pick and he’s that bad… seems like a complete bust. Is having him NOT play helping him? Is he going to somehow magically learn how to be a NFL lineman from second team reps in practice and barely any game time? What a bust of a pick.

I dont think vrabel wanted to join a team with avg or shit qbs like he had in tenn and lets hope  maye can get improve  soon . Roster still is below avg

Im betting over 200 yards for James cook to cook cause the Pats blow balls

11:55 Can we not talk about the relationship between Mike Vrabel and Drake Maye as a marriage and a coupling?

“Fake News” is an unfortunate choice of words, popularized by the current authoritarian kleptocracy, and directed at its benighted acolytes.🤔

Drake's agent rather you talk about his shoulder instead of his head.

Let’s just admit the kid is a flop

Bedard on Vrabel
Glug, glug, gurgle, slurp slurp, gurgle.

Drake Maye: My shoulder isn’t affecting me
Mike Vrabel: Drake’s shoulder isn’t affecting him
Boston Media: talks about the shoulder every podcast and interview
Also Boston Media: Can we stop talking about the shoulder now??????
Me: 👁️👄👁️

Why would you EVER pick these INJURED patriots? Even if Maye was playing fine? What?
