Go behind the scenes at AEONrv with founder and CEO Jim Ritchie for a full look at how the 2026 AEONrv comes together — and what's new this year.
We start in the cabinet shop, where CNC-cut components are built for a precision fit, then follow the box down the assembly line to see exactly how an AEONrv is made from a Ford Transit chassis to a finished, four-season adventure rig. From there, Jim walks us through the completed 2026 AEONrv inside and out.
Two big changes for 2026:
🪵➡️♻️ We ditched wood cabinets for good. Every 2026 AEONrv now uses a structural foam core made from recycled plastic bottles instead of wood — cutting cabinet weight by up to 50% while resisting moisture, warping, and rattles for a quieter, more durable cabin.
⚡ All-new all-Victron electrical system, up to 15.3kWh. The 2026 AEONrv runs on a fully-electric Victron power platform — no propane, no generator. Standard capacity starts at 5.12kWh and is expandable up to 15.36kWh, charged via 800W rooftop solar (Victron 100/30 MPPT), dual Victron Orion XS DC-DC chargers off the Transit's alternator, and a 3,000VA Victron inverter/charger for shore power — all monitored from a Victron Cerbo GX touchscreen or your phone.
