With M via J, Brown M kinda made a return

I remember when the 6 train had the R142As on a regular basis!

The R142A 4 train turned to a 6 holy moly welcome back R142A 6 Train!!!

5:44 N train isn't mentioned as it runs with the R from 34th to 57th, so the N is only announced as a connection at the start and end of that concurrence.

The reason the R142A 6 was able to display Westchester Sq on the inside is because the R142s/R142As have the ability to set any stop along the route's program as the terminal, despite not having a dedicated announcement for it

2:00 Idk, why I love the conductor saying, 'Next stop is corlant stand clear 😂😂

13:19 it's just the train testing it's SDS screens, it's not a glitch.

Hey suprtoe, just wanna say theres a sign at 14st - 8th ave that says queens and the bronx, i think its worth talking about

Love the video! Especially the 4 via Pelham.
And also, the 4 reroute and low capacity was due to switch replacement at 125th, not 149th. Close enough tho

SEE YOU NEXT WEEK SUPERTOE GOOD NIGHT.

R160 G is back for this weekend!

it’s pretty cool to see the r142a back on the 6 line

(R) 🔧 Special Reroute Notice: The R to Forest Hills is rerouted via Roosvelt Island because of signal maintenance at 57 St-7 Av

16:04 “all I got was” 🤖🤖🤖🤖🤖

48:40 fun fact the V used to terminate here in the express track

Supertoe I saw 2 dircles on the same N train at queensboro plaza I think it was car 5152 and the one behind it

Love it! Good revival of the old school brown (M) for that little bit of time!

I will say though, because you were talking about the automated announcements not mentioning of any transfer to the (J):

What I think is going on... (I'm from Australia, so I don't have Myrtle Av-Broadway in my backyard unfortunately. 😂 But I'll still take a guess anyway.) If there is a common interlining for a few stops on multiple local services, as the (M) used to do on Nassau with the (J)(Z), the digital announcements would only mention the transfers between them at the start and end points of the interlining (i.e. Essex St where the (M) now breaks off to the 6 Av line, and Myrtle Av, where the (M) breaks to Middle Village-Metro. Av, and the (J)(Z) continues towards Jamaica, will have the (J) and (M) announcing the transfer to the other service). If you take a (J) whenever it's running local between Marcy and Myrtle right alongside the (M), not when it runs express, the (M) transfer would only get a mention at Myrtle. No point repeating the transfer announcement for the 3 stops in between [Hewes, Lorimer, Flushing Av] when the same services make the same stops together.

Another example of that could be the (B)(C) on the Central Park West local between 125 and 59 St-Columbus Circle. While either train is doing all those stops together between 116 and 72, they don't announce the transfer to the other service until 59-Columbus or 125 when you also have the (A)(D) on the express as a transfer.

Also, if the programming knows that it's a service replacing another service on that line (i.e. "This is a Broad St-bound (M) train, via the (J) line!" ), it should also refrain from mentioning the (J) as a transfer in those announcements, since it's pretty much pretending to be a (J) train for that point.

The side of the R142 6 display looked like an 8 train💀🤔

I had to leave the live because i was about to take a nap. So sorry suprtoe. But. I was also there at the start of the live. I was never that early to your live.

Let’s go nice and keep it up btw this is a R train via the f line the next stop is Roosevelt Island
