I don’t want much for my birthday. i just want the person reading this to be healthy, happy and loved wishing you a wonderful day 💚💚

I’m not racist but I always look for jerk chicken videos where the chef has a distinct Jamaican accent cuz I know the food gonna be good

Thyme , 1 scotch bonnet, 2 small onions , 4 gloves garlic , 1 small carrot , 1/2 bell pepper, 2 scallion , pimento seeds, 1 cup water, 1/2 soya sauce mushroom, piece of ginger blend

I am an Indian who had never heard about Jerk Chicken before. Then I travelled to London, there was a food street that had small joints serving food from across the world. I saw a huge queue outside one of the joints. I came to know there is Jerk Chicken being served. I was taken a bit by surprise that why would someone name a dish as Jerk Chicken. Nevertheless, i joined the queue and ate the Jerk Chicken for the first time in my life. After that i got addicted to the Jerk chicken that I started to visit the food joint daily and eat it daily. I am back in India but i still crave that Jerk Chicken. I dont think we get Jerk Chicken even at some fancy restaurants here, even if some do serve I am not sure if that would be an authentic recipe. My love for Jerk Chicken still remains, and I would never leave a chance to eat it again. Long Live the Jerk Chicken and blessed are the Jamaicans for inventing this fantastic dish.

For anyone making this recipe and don’t know what pimento seeds are or can’t find them, it’s called ALLSPICE here in the states.

You know if the kitchen looks packed like this, the food is gonna be delicious and heartwarming. I can tell you this. Wish you long, healthy and happy life Mama Joan. Thanks for sharing your wisdom.

I can watch her cook and talk all day.. Love her accent..

Since I've woken up this morning (it's 7 30am now) I've seen a French recipe a German recipe an American goulash recipe and now a Jamaican recipe. I feel like I've traveled the planet. Thank you internet and you tube.

Yesssss!!! No more slap your Mama, box up your Papa!!! God bless the kids tho 😂😂😂

How wonderful to see a real kitchen! This is the kind of place that great food comes from, not the sterile laboratories we're used to seeing on cooking shows. 💗💗💗

Nuff respect Mama Joan's show them how we do it.

As soon as i heard the accent I knew I was in the right palce

Best channel ever, we have the whole package: entertainment, lifestyle, cooking tutorials, family; I mean everything! Big ups Mama Joan💃

Everything I've cooked in this unit has come out great https://www.youtube.com/post/UgkxD4Qeo-HRLxMfom_PDinM_SBfes00qJsB ! Everything tastes so good. Some of the recipes I've changed a little to improve the taste. For instance, for french fries which call for no oil, I spray them with olive oil and season them with salt and pepper. They come out great! It makes the best toast I have ever eaten. The recipe I use calls for lightly buttering both sides of the bread. It calls for cooking at 400 degrees for 5 minutes on one side and then 2 minutes on the other side. This time has a lot to do with the kind of bread you are using...so keep an eye on it. Also, the fans in this Ninja are a lot stronger than other air fryers. So lay a metal spoon or something on the bread to keep it from flying around. It's a little extra work to use your Ninja as a toaster but it is worth it!

I’m literally so hungry right now 😂😂

I am an aspiring chef from Japan.

Not professionally trained; however, I came across your video, and my first impression is that I would love to be related to you.

It must be fun to cook, laugh, and learn new things in the warmth of your kitchen.

I’ve never had Jamaican food, and I feel there is a lot of love, passion, and personality behind it.

Thank you for making this video. Although we come from different background, I feel that Japan and Jamaica became a little closer through your cooking.

Have a nice day.
