Do you find this argument persuasive? Honestly, this argument alone would be enough to make me Catholic. What do you think??

I am not a Protestant anymore, I'm a Christian but slowly, wanting to be Catholic. Praying and pray for me

I told a Protestant that Polycarp was likely baptized as a baby because he said he was Christian for 87 years. The Protestant said “we should follow what Jesus taught not Polycarp.”.
I said “it’s not Polycarp’s teaching it’s who came before him, Polycarp was a baby!” He was a disciple of John, if you say John isn’t Jesus so we shouldn’t listen to him, how can you know anything about Jesus because all we know of Jesus comes from the apostles.

St Ignatius was the most influential Church Father in my conversion to Catholicism. That’s why he’s now my confirmation Saint.

Thank you from this Protestant for making this video. I've been looking into Orthodox and Catholic Churches. This gives me great directions to go. Please pray for me. God bless.

It was the letters of Saint Ignatius , when I read them, it changed my life! I entered into the Catholic faith Easter of 2024! 🙏🏻❤️ I knew his letters were true! And it shook me to my core! Praise God for these church fathers! No modern day pastors, nor the one 500 years ago knew more than these great men that were discipled and ordained by Peter and John themselves!!!🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻❤️

As a former Baptist, Ignatius of Antioch had a powerful influence in my journey to the Catholic Church.

East Orthodox brother here… literally my favorite saint of all time. The only rebuttal I’ve heard against the teachings of Ignatius is “the apostles were corrupt” which, of course, at that point all we can do is pray for them. Excellent work brother keep sharing this knowledge!!

I am definitely wrestling with converting to Catholicism. Prayers appreciated

His letter to Smyrna was a home run for me..

I was raised as an Evangelical Christian. I graduated from a Fundamentalist Protestant Bible college with honors, but I never became a pastor. After graduation I continued my studies in church history and classical theology. Eventually I became a Reformed believer which lasted for about 15 years. Ten years ago I was confirmed in the Catholic faith at Easter Vigil Mass 2015. The writings of St Ignatius of Antioch helped greatly to destroy my old faith in the “Protestant Reformation.” The early Church was Catholic. That is a fact regardless of how any Protestant “feels” about it. Facts don’t care about your feelings. 😊😊😊❤❤❤ “Upon This Rock” by Steve Ray. 👍

Cameron,
I thank you for posting these chapters from the letters on a video. I’ve been hearing about these letters for years, but this is the first time I actually READ them…
Thanks to you they came to me, now I need to go fetch them and read them in their entirety!
Thank you!!

I’m grateful to be one month closer to being baptized by the priest who helped me along my journey. Going through the rite of acceptance at 0930 mass tomorrow

Orthodox brother here. You did an excellent job on this.

Glad I am a cradle Catholic. I unfortunately didn't know too much about my faith due to the fact that my catechesis was taught by a lay-person, instead of the original teachers, a sister or nun. Now I have been steeped in Catholic Church history and find out how rich it is. I have fallen in love with my faith again.

I shared this video on my Facebook page and I pray that my protestant friends watch this! Great job!!

Thank you for this video. I am a catholic and also a fan of St Ignatius of Antioch, and thanks to our Lord, there are several Protestant Pastors rediscovering the truth of the Eucharist. I pray to Jesus to protect you and your family, and provide for your needs. You are spreading the truth. God bless you.

Haven’t been able to keep St. Ignatius of Antioch out of my mind for a while and I immediately knew who you were gonna talk about before watching.

I guess this is a sign to read his letters!
