I have exactly 0 clue what any of this mean. 5k, 5c, Re-jump, neutral etc. What are these fighting game terms that I don't understand.

Thank you a lot for saying not to worry about picking hard characters. I feel the FGC gets off on pushing people away with "Oh you like this character? MMMMMM there SO HARD~. Better pick a character with absolutely zero transferable skills for the character you want to play until you level your imaginary skill stat enough to play who you bought the game for~!"

It's so fresh to here someone say "Yo pick whoever you want especially if they're hard to learn because if thats the character you love you should at least be willing and encouraged to try to learn them." Little attitude things like that would go a long way for getting people into fighting games more.

Where are the PS Plus noobs at?😆

@Sef_ 4 years ago

holding buttons to buffer the special is the exact tip i needed for this game.

Wait, so KoF15 has frame 0 throws that you can't meaty on wakeup? Like +R? Wow. That is something that I'd assumed nobody would put in a fighting game in this day and age. Seems crazy.

From a total noob who played this game for only a couple of hours (me), something that helped me a lot to do some combos is to do my inputs together.
Exemple: Terry's Power Knuckle is quarter back P. To combo a Power Gayser at the end, i don't need to quarter back again, i can use the previous motion to only half circle front P.

I've played KOF since NEO GEO 94 and what I see you need to learn in this game is footise, jab+short combos into high damage supers combos

Good guide.
I haven't played competitively in KOF for many years, and it has been very good for me to refresh concepts.
It makes me very happy that you like the franchise and are going to play.
let's gooo

Awesome guide! Could you also talk about MAX mode and how/when to utilize it?

That moment when your favourite Granblue player/streamer/content creator, finally moves on to KoF, your favourite series :)

Once again Diaphone proves to be the Goat in fighting games. I recently took a break from Strive because of your modt recent video to learn KoF and get myself together overall and this video was recommended. I felt it was a sign and I needed this Thank you for everything you do and don't stop being great 😎

@ramonalbertohernande 4 years ago

nice guide, will be great if could explain the safe way to start a combo, i learned a few combos in training mode but i can't use it in a real match. By the way your Athena it's so cool.

Thanks I felt overwhelmed learning the game but it makes a lot of sense when you go for short things. I hope to see more KOFXV content!!

Great video. Gonna practice my fuzzy throw now.

@WitchHazelHazel 4 years ago

Thank you for this video!!! Your segment on structuring offense has helped soooo much, this is my first KoF so figuring out just basic neutral has felt like a huge challenge for me

You did a better job at tutorial with helping players than SNK themselves did with this game. Seriously these are things that shouldve been broken down in game. This game feels Ghetto ASF when you see how Capcom took time to make sure all players could grasp SF6 new or not.
