Finally, Gemini recorded a walkthrough of Lies of P.

From now on, whenever I play any soulslike, I'll be thinking, "This would be so much better if I was using Pale Knight." This is the curse that I must now bear.

For anyone that may not know, arlecchinos voice lines are different if you choose to let lea help you

I tip my hat to you, lad. Got more patience than me, that's for sure.

27:04 I just realized now that the triumvirate amulet represents Carlo, Romeo and Lea as an alliance of stalkers, three people united for a common goal

22 min first Boss fight. Lies of MonsterHunter haha you are a beast dude

The pale knight looks a lot like Nero's Red Queen. Its also absolutely a gunblade. That's so fucking cool.

By the time you can beat Arcchelino:

Phase 1 - "Spring in my Step"
Phase 2 - "Raining Blood"

There are people that say that Lies of P is a sekiro-like? Definitely Not true because the Bosses or strong Elite enemies Take significantly less DMG from normal attacks to the Point where its almost mandatory to parry

@chezlordtheinevitable5726 1 year ago

The second the dlc came i out i knew you would do a crazy run and I gotta say this looks sick

@soregplays 1 year ago

The gunblade is indeed cool, but I think nothing beats the Rose Sword. The thousand cuts fable art and finisher are just so epic.

Yup, I started the DLC on NG+8 legendary stalker, then changed to butterfly guidance on NG+9, pre-nerf and the mobs still dealt big damage despite the lowest difficulty, haha!

I did a NG+10 playthrough after the double nerf, and the DLC mobs did lower or the same damage as the base mobs now.

So it’s definitely doable.

3:27 THANK YOU! It always annoys me when people say that this game is all about deflecting like Sekiro is. No, it's simply a powerful tool you have and a handful of bosses lend themselves better for a parry approach. But dodging is extremely viable and is in fact my preferred playstyle in most cases. Only red attacks require parrying, but even for those they provide you with a talisman, or you can rely on outspacing the attack altogether. Deflecting attacks is also generally speaking way harder than dodging, which is exactly why you get the added benefit of doing stance damage and potentially breaking an enemies weapon. It's a tool in your toolbelt. To what extent you want to make us of it, is up to the player.

I love how Arlecchino throws out his craziest attack combo and then says, "Wow, you really think you can win". All the while you easily survived his onslaught and are slashing him with a giant sword. Yeah bro, I am pretty sure I can win.

Truly I salute you. Real kudos and mad respect for beating Arlecchino alone and on NG+7 no less. I couldn't even beat him solo, not even on my 1st playthrough, and I needed Lea to carry the entire fight. I decided to try to fight him solo in my NG+, but I couldn't beat him at all, not even after I dropped the difficulty to Butterfly's Guidance. He just never stops attacking and he hits so hard. So I had no choice but to change the difficulty back to Legendary Stalker and rely on Lea once again.

You're a total madman. I can soul level 1 dark souls and this is still nuts

@dantoxgaming 1 year ago

I feel like I get a whole different perspective on the early game seeing it bee so difficult to even kill the police puppet

@slydog2678 1 year ago

I feel like the longer that Arlecchino fight went on the more embarrassing it got for him.

@satyreblack 1 year ago

Markiona took me so long to beat but was just as satisfying once i beat it lol gj beating the challenge!

@DesaDoom 1 year ago

After a total of around 5-6 hours I finally beat Arlechino and now I can watch the full video. Amazing run man, that boss was so hard, but so satisfying once you get it
