God, finally going through this series really emphasizes how much the chess world lost when this man left us. RIP Sensei, thank you for the teachings you left behind. 😢

Even though he is no longer with us, his legacy lives on through his brilliant videos. He had a rare gift for making the most complex chess concepts feel simple and accessible to everyone. We miss you, Danya.

It is amazing how patient he is when answering all the questions.  Great chess teacher and a huge loss.

I guess i'll never know what to do if they accept the gambit.

It's funny that when I was rated 1000 a few months ago, how rarely I came across these players that blundered so badly by move 3. Or what's possibly funnier is maybe I was so bad, and I was one of these players that blundered and didn't notice others doing it.

0:12 Benjamin Finegold has left the chat

2:40 And it was in this position Ben Finegold lost his faith in humanity

got inspired by this and and tried the danish for the first time and they immediately took both pawns and i had no clue what to do next lol

this should be rated r18 I don't want my kids watching a murder

Ben Finegold isn't going to be happy when he sees this video with TWO F6's in a row

Omg I laughed out loud at the second game 😂 Danya's reaction 😂😂

"As is generally known, the hyper-mordern knowns admirably how to resist the temptation to occupy the center with pawns, at any rate not until a really favorable opportunity presents itself. If such a chance presents itself, he casts aside all shyness, and the pawns, supported by the fianchettoed Bishops, rush wildly forward, seize the center, and strive to crush the enemy" - Aron Nimzowitsch

One of my favorite videos. My heart is truly broken.

13:43 YES! The hypermodern Danya meme!

Yesterday I saw a video of yours in which you played the Caro Kann, and today I played against an opponent who played the exact line that you faced. I remembered some of the ideas about development and attacking you talked about and was able to win the game. Thanks, and thank you for being a great member of the chess teaching community!

In this video, Danya in-fact refutes Ben Finegold by playing f6#

I really wanna see how he plays with danish accepted man!!
Why doesn't anyone accept the pawn.

Danya should try to submit one of these to guess the elo and see how gotham reacts

What a legend Danya posting on an almost daily basis, being an excellent teacher, and just being incredibly entertaining. Love the channel, genuinely a highlight of my day whenever I see a new video!

This is so weird, I used to play the danish at 1000-1200 level and I don’t think I ever had a game where people didn’t take the D pawn
