Canvases "I absolutely LOVE it" //Judges "It looks terrible, you should be ashamed"

"her sloping forehead and bulbous nose are not the most attractive look"
People with sloping foreheads and bulbous noses: 👁️👃👁️

"Nobody cares about yellow nonsense." What, you mean the trademark part of the painting makes it a Klimt?

I understand it's a competition that's supposed to challenge artists, but such paintings, which took the original artists days and months to create, in 6 hrs? Seems very unrealistic imo

"For your next challenge' you are going to have to depict The Last Supper while you and your canvas are riding this mechanical bull. Good luck."

I HATE how some days the judges are all about meeting the challenge, then other days it's based off "report cards" 🙄

The inconsistency in the judging process is outrageous! Set your standards for judging and stick to them. Plus the ‘challenges’ are often ridiculous with their expectations. I would be terrified to be a canvas for what they ask for in 6 hours.

I’m glad Dave stepped in and made it clear that “report cards” are not what they go by during eliminations. Chris is always flip-flopping depending on who he’s judging. One day he says “your past work doesn’t matter, if your tattoo sucks today then you’re going home today “ and the next day, if it’s a team he likes more, he’ll say “well you guys have done well in the past so great job”

They should honestly add a segment where they MUST tattoo on darker skin. It's an important skill. If someone's an ink master, they should be able to tattoo on any skin, and plenty of them avoid it or are shit at it.

I hate how even on challenges where cute girls aren't the topic, they critique a tattoo for a female in it not being their version of pretty. They literally sent an artist home in a different season because the artist tattooed a grim reaper on a girl for a horror topic, and they didn't like that the artist tattooed a gruesome reaper on a pretty girl. They sent him home for the reaper not being "pretty enough" to be on a girl for a horror challenge.

“You guys don’t tattoo the same” why is that even a challenge? I thought the point of different artists were different styles? Who wants two people who tattoo exactly the same?

That goat painting tatoo looks fine to me, just needs to be a little darker

if you can't tattoo anything but white skin, then you aren't that good of an artist... point blank. color theory is a part of art and if you don't know how to work negative space and contrast than that's your own fault.

Is this a joke? How was there actually any debate on whether blackspade should've gone home or not??? That goat tattoo was really good and their's looked like a hot mess

5:57 "this girl has dark skin" clearly my man hasn't seen really dark skinned people before

The judging is so ridiculous, I'm starting to just think they shouldn't be allowed to use facial features as reasons for criticism unless they're talking about portraits, maybe pinups. "The Queen's forehead slopes too much and her nose is too bulbous" - and this says what about the skill applied in the tattoo? You're evaluating how skilled the tattoo artist is, not how pretty you think the woman they drew is.

This show is a joke to tattoo artists, still love seeing the work, despite inconsistent judging

“HeS jUSt a FuNnY gOoF ChAraTeR!!”  he’s literally a historical religious figure.

Her face? Is what we call BUSTED. Her nose? Where is it? 😂😂😂

Not me googling why oliver peck is missing in every clip to find out he did blackface. 💀💀💀
