Park Vue has been our go to Disneyland go to for years. We started staying there in 2002, when our kids were little. It was super coinvent if we needed to leave the park. Back then they even had a free "light dinner" in the afternoon. It mainly consisted of hotdogs, and chicken nuggets. I think this is where my daughter became addicted to chicken nuggies. The included breakfast was really good. Waffles, eggs back etc. For a young family having two of the days meals included in the price of our hotel stay really helped. Even though we live three states away, the affordable price and all the included amenities made it possible for us to do a disney trip every year. It got to the point when my wife would call to book our stay the guy at the front desk recognized her voice and ask us if we wanted our regular room. We loved Park Vue inn.
One year we even got annual passes, and stayed at Park Vue for times in one year. The same family has owned the hotel since it opened in the early sixties.  
 The light dinner was eliminated in 2005ish, but the breakfast was still as good as ever. Then covid killed off the breakfast, and it never came back. For years you could look into the breakfast room and see all the tables and equipment just sitting there as if the would open back up soon, but they never did. They even covered the window so people would stop asking if free breakfast was coming back.
  Then the prices started to really get out of hand. What used to be an affordable stay now cost as much as a much higher end hotel. I used to get "mad" when I would see a youtuber do a Park Vue hotel review, because the were giving away our little secret gem. We still stay there, but only one night,  because the cost has gone up so much. The rest of the trip we stay at one of the other near by options, that still leave a little money in our wallets to spend in the park.

Great point about the terrible plugs where you can't get a good charge. Happens even at higher end places. We're longtime Candy Cane Inn lifers.

We used to stay and enjoy PVI but then they got rid of the free breakfast. Ever since then we decided to go elsewhere. With that price it needed a breakfast.

The plug outlets matter! So many places don’t even work! So when you have a good outlet for your chargers or anything take advantage 😂

I stayed at the Clementine Hotel and Suites in Anaheim near Disneyland. It was a 10 min walk to Disneyland …. It was nice free continental breakfast. Bedroom. Living Room kitchen ….

I love this place. Their gift shop came up clutch for us like 8 times last time we were there.

We stayed at the Fairfield Inn over there & loved it! It was only about $150/night when we were there.

Thanks, just booked this hotel and I really hope we can get a good nights sleep. Honestly I just need a place to take a break and sleep before heading back home as I don't like to drive at night.

I love this hotel. It is one of my favorites.

Before Covid, they had a really nice breakfast. I remember you could go in and get fresh cookies and lemonade in the lobby.  It was a cute little boutique place to stay. When they eliminated those features, I decided it wasn’t worth the cost to stay there anymore.

I live in Murrieta & we got a hotel for the first time all year last month. Me & my oldest got to stay until close which was amazing. I wouldn’t do it everytime but once in a while a hotel would make not driving home after a full day of Disney amazing lol.

We stay there every time we go. I miss that they don't offer breakfast anymore. It was such a better deal when they did, but after a long day at the parks it's so nice to just walk across the street to your room.

I used to stay there during the 90’s to 10’s.  Only appeal was the distance, when there was no rope drop so people could queue up for Starbucks.  Used to have biscuits and gravy every other day if I remember correctly.

I know exactly what you mean about the outlets. We stayed at the HOJO last year and the outlets were awful. When you have 4 people in a room, everyone has devices, magic bands, maybe an Anker charger etc. you need outlets that actually charge. Now it’s the first thing my husband and I check when we get to our room.

You're a dude after my own heart! I left some devices plugged in just a few days ago and the dorky hotel plugs didn't charge the devices ALL night, and it made me crazy. So... yeah. Yay for a good connection.

When the family still lived in California, we would stay at this hotel. they had just got done with refurbishing the room. it was nice.
