Great explanation here—bungee strength really comes down to bodyweight + how you want the bounce to feel. Most people do great with standard, but dialing it in makes a big difference for comfort and consistency.

It’s great that you like and promote the Bellicon. But, I have to go with the Jumpsport, primarily because it provides an adjustable bounce and the approximate 50% less cost of Jumpsport. It appears that both products are high quality in materials and workmanship, and equally attractive. Keep putting out the information and sharing your knowledge, and thank you for doing so.

I just ordered a JumpSport 550 Pro. I then ordered a 44" mat and bungees from bellicon. I'm seeing that it's the frame from JumpSport and the mat/bungees from bellicon that are ideal. Found out from another video that the bellicon mats will fit the jumpsport frames.

Nice video, not sure if you proved that the bungee from Bellicon has better quality than the bungee from JumpSport or just a different response to tension. All and all we think the Bellicon should be better at 2x the cost of a premium JumpSport at $600 vs $1200 for a premium Bellicon. Are the Bellicon bungees worth $600 plus more? That we are not sure of.

I chose the jump sport because you adjust the bungee cords 3 different ways without buying a whole new set of bungees,and the way the leggs of offset outward its more stable and just a much better design.

Love your videos!  Very thorough and helpful.  If I could add my experience, I am 5'2" and 113 lbs and use Bellicon's "Extra Strong."  I got it because my husband is 200 lbs and that was the suggestion, but I LOVE it.  It is definitely a workout for me to push the mat down to do the health bounce.  I can feel it in my thighs, glutes, abs...it's easy and hard at the same time if that makes sense.  I ordered Medium so I'd be able to switch them out, but I actually changed the order to get another set of Extra Strong for when these wear out.  I'm loving that I can do gentle aerobics or HIIT (high intensity interval training) and work my muscles pretty hard no matter what I'm doing.  My feet get tired, but like you said about your ankles on Medium, my feet will strengthen, too.

Can you use the bellicon bungees on another brand rebounder? Has anyone tried it?

Thank you for your videos!  I'm going to get a Bellicon (I'll use your link) and this is where I'm stuck, I can go between the Strong and Extra-Strong, and I think the video has me set on the Strong.  I agree, we're not looking for "air" here, it's for health.  I have a cheaper one now and LOVE it.  I have so much energy I don't want to lay down all the time.  Rebounding is awesome.

I agree with even getting a cheaper one to start. I made myself promise 6 months of consistency and I’m getting a Bellicon. I have Jumpsport right now and it’s good, but Bellicon is my goal. I love all the information you’re giving on them.

This is the exact video I was looking for thank you so much! I'm not new to rebounding but I'm new to rebounders. Let me s'plain please.

When I began rebounding in 1980, there were only spring rebounders available. And I still have the same unit that I started on and the Mat and springs have a lot of miles left on them. You're just a noisy as they were in the beginning, and it's a very firm Mat. I didn't know the difference or that there was another type of Mat all these decades, but there were days I just didn't want to get on it because of the impact on my low back Etc. But for the most part I did it anyway.

That was last century. Now let's come up to the 21st century. I recently purchased a Leaps and Bounds 48 inch and love love love it! The bounce is way more comfortable than my original rebounder. but I want to try this bellicon rebounder. Along the way I became interested in the jump sport because it had the adjustable bungees. I received the 39-in JumpSport and set it up and it's extremely reminiscent of my original rebounder from 1980 in terms of firmness. It's just a lot quieter because it's bungees instead of Springs. I understand the purpose of the firmer mat for intense workouts Etc. But I'm 74 years old and looking to salvage and maintain at this point. I'm kind of done climbing mountains if you know what I mean.

I keep hearing about the Excellence and comfort when using the bellicon rebounders and your video has convinced me to pursue that.

You brought up a very good point about the Matt and using it to work your ankle strength. I might just keep the JumpSport to do that kind of a thing and use the bellicon for a more General jump to address lymphatics and overall Fitness.

The jumpsport I just got is set for the softest bounce but it's still pretty firm.. My body feels the jolt on the down impact too much.


I wish I knew about these soft bungees years ago when they started.

so I used to rebound on the springs even when I didn't want to cuz I had to get the workout done, conversely, I find I can't wait to get on my Leaps and Bounds. It's also a 48 inch device so laying down for floor exercises is a lot more comfortable for me. I can't imagine a rebounder feeling any better than this Leaps and Bounds that I have, that said I've seen videos where people like yourself compare the leaps and rebounders with the bellicon visually while they're rebounding and they are touting substantial difference in Comfort Just As You Are. So thanks for taking your time to make this video.

I’ve been watching your videos for a couple months, very informative, thanks so much. I just ordered my first bellicon yesterday, I have a cheap rebounder right now. Ive only had it a month, but wanted to switch up my cardio, I got the ultra strong bungees because I want to do fast cardio, maybe in a year I’ll go down to the strong bungees just for change. I can’t wait to try it. I was using an elliptical and have lost 97 pounds in 4 years now I just need a change. I also do kettlebells and strength training.

I like how you break down the strengths, but wondering - this may be a dumb question, but I'm trying to understand - is the or strong bounce the same as the jumpsport then?  I have week ankles and calves, so I want to strengthen and get stronger, I also want lymph movement, but I don't want to hurt my knees. What about the mats? Bellicon has two mat choices. They have a comfort mat, how is that going to affect the bungee strength? What size is your wife's rebounder? Which mats did you both choose? Just curious. Thank you for your video!
