I would have never thought Coulthard and Schumacher went on vacations together

They literally had to change the rules to stop Michael's dominance and bring viewers back. I loved watching him win nearly every race back in the day. Sure, close racing is great too but Schumi dominance was inspiration, nothing short of spectacular. Then that song came out by DJ Visage, pure magic!

0:38 'Because he is present. He's just not publicly present' - Thanks for pointing it out that clearly.

DAVID, I love and appreciate you brother. It is actually you and Mika of the greatest McLaren days on the late 1990's that I miss so much. I saw you both in 1997 in Brazil and right after in Argentina. Naturally I cheered for Mika over Michael any day, but in 1994 as a McLaren fan watching Senna LIVE in Brazil and being a Williams hater, I cheered for Michael to win that race and the title in 1994 that the FiA tried so damnn hard to make it not happen! David, I am so thankful that you won in Monaco during your career as you explained how important that race event truly is. God bless you my friend.

Coulthard is one of the best at relaying what it was like to compete in F1. Button is another one. Shaking their hand is on my bucket list, to thank them for their incredible contributions to racing culture at the highlest level, and for just being really great human beings.

Alonso knows he should have more titles than he has, he's fueled by this feeling of Injustice. The heartbreaking part of it might be the fact he Will never get that third title, it was now or never, and Aston Martin totally bottled it. He deserved much more

I could literally listen to David all day, very wise for his years, and a great way with words. Thanks guys 👍

Alonso now 44 years old incredible! Started F1 Racing in 2001 Incredible!!

David Coulthard is truly a very knowledgeable person. I enjoy listening to him talk. I was only going to watch for two minutes, but now I've watched three episodes in a row and I'm still watching. I feel like I learned something or at least it reminded me of a series of very important issues that were beautifully expressed 👏🏻👏🏻

Spa 1998 I almost had a heart attack.

Look at Richard Burns who died of a brain tumour, and Colin McRae who died in a helicopter crash.

That was the best interview I’ve watched

100% I can relate to what DC said about 1: sport is an extended childhood and 2: when your first child comes along something inside just tells you its time to focus on giving them the best. I was living breathing hang gliding comps, my daughter was born and thats it. Never done a comp since and i was British Series champion in 2010. Seen too many die in my sport.

Last verified info we have on Schumacher is that his wife needed to assist him to sign the helmet for the 75 years anniversary of F1. Other news is just gossip.

Juan Manuel Fangio didn’t start motor racing until his 30s , I believe and didn’t retire until he was 47 years, still as World Champion.

For all Americans watching, the first two minutes as DC stated that he didn't ask because he assumed the family would tell him if they wanted to and Otherwise he stayed on the point where Michael's family announced it. That's certainly disturbing, but that's something called STYLE. You had some of that with Obama decades ago. So don't be surprised by anything you can't even comprehend.
German Male

Schumacher was filthy and brilliant.

1:35 LeBron James comes to mind. Basketball is one of the most athletic sports out there, guy is still putting up insane performances for his age.

David is a Gentleman!

1:22 in and i want to punch the reporter. Good job keeping your cool David.
