I'm over my head in work thanks to your guys! And sorry for the issue with the audio--first time not using iMovie and I'm struggling lmao

"Repair" is an understatement, she basically build an entirely new and better instrument from parts.

Another one of those absurdly niche videos that are inexplicably riveting at 3:00am.

Emma, you are are a very skilful lady and your videos are beautifully narrated

I’m a guitar player who does repair and mods on mostly electric guitars. I’m thoroughly impressed with the excellent work you do, especially with the amount of time involved.

Another example of "The Algorithm" actually working for a change!
Brilliant work, I love how this Wurly turned out.

This channel hit my algorithm and I'm so blown away by the beautiful combination of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, some chemistry, musicality, and amazing overall artistry.

Oh My GOD. This is the youtube channel I didn't know I needed. My dad used to take in all kinds of weird keyboards (PolyMoog, Kurzweil, actual pianos, pump organs) and kind of nurse them along. I have a Roland F90, I got for my daughter around 2003, it is still my favorite keyboard, I've had it repaired three times, each time harder to get parts.

Emma, as an architect, musician and luthier, I am in awe of your technical knowledge and attention to detail. As for this build, I love it.

I used to have a Keyboard ,Organ and Amp repair business back in the 90's and early 2000's fixed many of these model 200 Wurlies . Replaced lots and lots of electrolytic caps and damper felts. Great channel. I like the colour infact I think you could go even more unique.

Jeez those old instruments were so complex, but in my opinion the level of complexity really worth it because their sound is way much better, and more beautiful than the newer digital instruments

WOW! I was a Music Education Major at a university in Kansas (in the early 80's) and this was the exact model of electric pianos we had in the majority of the labs. I hadn't thought of those boards in years. Thanks for the trip down memory lane!

It makes me so happy to see someone who is still so dedicated to their craft, putting their heart and soul into it. Bless you

@BruceEEvans1 11 months ago

I am glad to see you vacuum up the drill chips rather than blowing them all over your shop. I cringe every time I see someone take a deep breath and scatter dust all over their work environment.

@LewisCollard 9 months ago

Whatever their field, I always appreciate watching anyone who really knows their craft at work and I feel like I get a little bit smarter just by listening to them. This is one of those. Awesome work!

This video has made me realize I should never complain when I have to retune any of my accordions. Fascinating and so well done!

@ChipGuy 9 months ago (edited)

That was not just a repair, that was a full fledged rebuild. Well done!

I love it when youtube throws in some smaller channels to discover for a change. I liked the pace of the video and you explaining every step of every perfect and imperfect modification you make. A true DIY
