This helps explain how they're recruiting much better than in the past.

Back story on Henry Dale and Betty Smith: They came from South Carolina to Springfield Illinois in 1954. Henry Dale formed the HD Smith Wholesale Drug Company . The firm started with only about five employees, Henry Dale, Glenn Allison (my dad), Ellen Beam, and one or so other employees. Their first week of serving drug stores in Sangamon County and Central Illinois. My dad started the week I was born in June 1954. After many years of growth, the firm was sold. Henry Dale was a big supporter of Illini football, leading to the FB training center. The family had three sons: Rodgers, a professor, Dale and Chris who both worked at the company. HD Smith was a large part of our life, and we were fortunate to be part of it.

I think I have seen all of the college football facilities that this channel has done. From top to bottom this has been been my favorite one. The players lounge was sweet and I love the brick weight room.

As a bowler, one thing I really dislike when people have their own private indoor bowling lanes is how close the lane is to the wall. The architect should have said move the wall out away from the lane. You have to bowl up against a wall to kinda understand the feeling you get being trapped up against a wall. It's nice, but I think that was a huge fail.
