“Your Houston chiropractor” is a fucking legend. Dr. Gregory Johnson

This adjustment took away my neck stiffness and pain. I've been adjusted for years with some relief, but it was never lasting. I think it's a very useful method of decompression.

You can clearly see the difference in professionalism from a lot of these channels.

@Rizzle0404 1 year ago

He does the same adjustments on everyone no matter what they have going on.

I've gone to Dr. Johnson prior to him getting super popular on YouTube. I felt overall he did a good job on my back. I actually loved the leg pull since I had his injured my lower back prior to going to his practice. I would of kept going to him but then he increased his prices drastically and I couldn't afford it anymore. I enjoyed the RingDinger adjustment.

The ring dinger sounds more like a carnival ride than a treatment.

Confusingly, there are actually 2 separate Advanced Chriopractic Relief YouTube channels.

I’m a Ring Dinger®️ chiropractor and I can tell you that the Y-strap and the Ring Dinger®️ are NOT the same. I performed Y-strap on my patients for several years before joining Team Ring Dinger. The patient set up, the doctors contact, the amount of force, the towel vs the strap and the line of correction are not the same at all. These 2 techniques should not be considered equal. The Y-strap adjustment is not a pure Y-axis pull. The head and neck must be put into flexion with Y-strap pulls. Not so with the Ring Dinger®️. The Ring Dinger®️ is vastly superior and safer than the Y-strap and i recommend all chiropractors serve their patients with it.

IMO, the difference between Y-Strap Adjustments vs the RingDingers on this particular table how the table lifts the legs, which helps to relax the lumbar spine and flatten out the lumbar curve. I think this makes the force of traction run through the lumbar spine better as compared to lying completely flat on a table using the Y-Strap. I fall asleep every night in this position that the RingDinger table sets the patients up for, and I'm not sure that someone without a lumbar injury would feel the difference that I would. But again, IMO.

I've enjoyed chiropractic videos for well over 10 years, but only discovered this channel a few months ago. If I went back in time and told my past self that in the future I would enjoy a channel of a chiro commenting on other chiro videos as much or even more than the standard videos, my past self would have scoffed then whooped my future self so hard it ended up right back here in the present.🤔🤣 This channel and these videos are fantastic! Thank you for making them. 👍

One big thing that I consider a red flag with Dr Johnson. He charges $550 for the first appointment. 😮

Just had my third ring dinger today. Very Grateful!

I remember a video a while back about Dr. Johnson discussing how people criticized him for doing the same treatments on every patient. He said that he personalizes his treatments for each patient, but ain't no way that's true. Every video is the same, just with different patients.

I remember Jeff Daniels giving these out in the locker room!

The "Legendary Ring Dinger" is a term for a specific treatment used in chiropractic therapy, known for its intense manipulation of the neck. This treatment has become popular due to its method of stretching the cervical spine and relieving pressure on the discs and nerves. Here’s what happens during and after the treatment:

1. Preparation: The patient lies on their back, usually on a chiropractic table, with the neck placed in special equipment that allows for manipulation.

2. Technique: The chiropractor uses a strong pulling motion on the neck to create a "popping" or cracking sound. This sudden stretch targets the release of tension and aims to restore normal function to the cervical spine.

3. Pressure relief: This technique can help reduce pressure on the vertebrae, discs, and nerves, potentially providing immediate relief, especially for neck, shoulder, and back pain.

4. Potential benefits: The treatment can help alleviate neck pain, headaches, muscle tension, and even symptoms like dizziness or numbness in the arms (if caused by nerve compression).

5. Risks and caution: Like all chiropractic treatments, there are risks of discomfort, worsening of the condition, or even injury, especially if improper technique is used or if the person has pre-existing serious health issues.

The treatment can be beneficial, but it’s always important to consult with a qualified professional before opting for this or similar therapies, especially if you have specific spinal or nerve-related issues.
