For the grass test, you could have lined up parallel to your driveway, one wheel on grass, the other on the pavement. Do a small peelout. If the lsd is working properly, you should get a good launch, grip the pavement wheel properly, and maybe pull towards the grass because of the grass being slippery & dragging your car. If it was not working properly, like an open-diff, the grass wheel would spin spin spin, pavement wheel just coast along, and it would feel like car isn't going anywhere, like if both wheels were on grass, even though one is not.

Great video! Just ordered an MFactory diff for mine. Hopefully install goes smoothly, and I don't snap the stock axles I'm re-using. ☠️
