Everywhere in the world is more expensive also exponentially. Last year, here in Reno, Nevada, I paid $4.29 per gallon for gas now it is $5.49. Groceries have gone up +/- 33% in the last 18 months. Beers here are +$7.50 at the bar and over $4.50 at the store. Given the state of the world I would still rather be in Thailand and the costs are reasonable.

The LDs are the biggest downer for me. I used to be quite generous but with the current prices not so much. In Pattaya around 120-140 in a normal bar like Soi Chaiyapoon which is fair. But GoGos, probably Soi6 or some other random bars might be anything from 160-220. Anything close to 200 is taking a piss imo. Hotels I find are still well priced and haven't really seen that high inflation in prices.

The parcels is an International issue, in my opinion to boost Amazon and their monopoly. It costs 30 euros to sell a small package of baby clothes, oflessthan a kg to the UK

Depends on what you're doing and how you do it. Bangkok and big cities are always going to be more expensive than going up into Isaan for example. Also, if you compare it to where you're from, those prices have likely skyrocketed too, so all boats rise with the tide around the world. Gas prices affect the costs of just about everything, because goods have to be flown, shipped or trucked in. Flights are also affected by oil prices which, you know what's happening with that. That said if you are smart about it, you can still keep things close to what you were used to, even from years ago. Avoid brand name places like the Hiltons. Perfect example of this is, I stay at a boutique hotel in the Phrom Phong on a popular street that costs me about $30/night. The Holiday Inn on the same block charges $80/night for a smaller room. Also, avoid western food. It's not as good as what you're used to and is where you will spend a ton of money wastefully. I can still eat out of a cart, or on the street and get a large portion of a freshly prepared, delicious and satisfying meal for less than 2 bucks. I've found Vietnam to be a little cheaper in general, but Cambodia was no bargain from my experience and actually more expensive than Thailand.

Thailand is Expensive if you need to be back and Forth to a Hospital , Have a Family or start a Family. Your Closet Sized Luxury Condo will not cut it anymore. You have young Children. If you want them to be Educated well 💰💰💰$$$$$ etc

6000 baht for a dentists visit, Really dude when was the last time you were at a dentists office , in the states? Under $200 for what you are expecting to pay, Really? Going to be a while before I can head your way, permanently, yet am sure there are tons of people that would love to have a small bill, like what you are expecting. Thanks for the vid, I enjoy them tremendously.

In our word we pay so much tax for resive, inside country cheap send. You have to help the local people , to try keep the real thailand, soon its india and neon light, mostlie there struggle life, its hard for the people there, for them salery is low, and cost is almost same we give, there is still many things to see around the country. Hope it bee a good thailand for future visit, would like to see my friends 1 or 2 times pr year. But now every visit end with a bigger spend, but it ok for me, but i understand other begin look other places, but its still for me one off favorite places to travell, one day get to old distance long.

The whole world is more expensive period. Trumps tariffs are affecting global trade hence global pricing. Its not over it will continue. In north america there is a trend starting especially in the youth to boycott consumerism. A dedication to not buying anything not deemed essential.
