Hey There! I created an updated 2026 version of this one, with all the new changes and stuff!

Enjoy!

FINALLY! someone who explain clearly and not hurry up with things. verry well and professional tutorial. thank you!

Most important part about building, learn your pieces! Placing every item down in one massive blueprint as your palette helps with finding parts for your needs.

Hi Rudi! Thank you so much for this in-depth guide to PC 2. I haven't seen anyone put this much effort into explaining the game's mechanics clearly. This video must have taken a lot of time and I really appreciate you making it! I hope you earn more viewers after this, your content deserves more attention. <3

You my friend are a savior! After dropping hundreds of hours in PlanCo and not having anything to show for it besides knowing how to get blueprints from the workshop and building around other creations to make a park. I can finally create everything on my own. I never thought of blocking out areas using the terrain paint tool. I’m only 37 minutes in and already learning so much from your tutorial. I’m going to take the next couple of days to follow the tutorial completely and learn and absorb as much as I can. I’ve watched a lot of PlanCo and PlanCo2 creation content but everyone else makes it seem like a breeze and already have a fully thought out park thought out but they all claim it’s creativity on the fly. You actually walk everyone through how to create a park from scratch!

Only question I have is how do you go about sizing an area? Like when painting using the different terrain how do you know roughly the size to aim for to make it feel realistic?

The rough layout with the terrain tool just changed my life... How did I not think of this sooner!?

Took four days, but I'm finally done with this.
Extremely helpful. Thx a lot man.

- If someone is wondering if this tutorial will help --> it will 100%.

Hi Rudi!!!!

Thank you so much!!!!
From your tutorial for Planet Coaster 2!!!!

What a long video!

I found the topics: Building a building, Creating paths, Creating pools, Decorating rides, Facilities, Staff, Creating terrain, Building slides and roller coasters helpful.

Thank you so much for that!!!!!

And you speak really good English for a German. Many Germans have difficulty speaking English. And they are far too proud of their language. That they refuse to speak English.

Thank you so much for this! I just got the game recently and am very new to the series, having only played roller coaster tycoon 1, 2, and 3, so the learning curve was very challenging and intimidating, this video helped me a lot.

Hey Rudi, greetings from your neighbor to the west, the Netherlands! I was looking for a proper tutorial on Planet Coaster 2 because the game was on sale for the Xbox Series X. And after I hooked up my keyboard and wireless mouse and fiddled a bit from my own Planet Coaster 1 experience I really hoped to find a good understanding of the new possibilities and I was so very very happy to see a tutorial making 🐫 hard at work here in YouTube!! I have already done 3 hours today and tomorrow I will come back to watch the last hour and then I will be able to really enjoy the game proper. Thanks a bunch! It's really great stuff you explained and it is also very understandable, that is why I am typing this thank you. Have a great day and I hope that you have a tips and tricks video coming up. That would be so cool ! Laters mate and thanks again!! Great stuff 👍🏻👍🏻😁

Hell yes!  This is what I need!  Thank you, Rudi!

The biggest tip I would give is hook up your power to the park gate to gain access to the external power grid. The generators are not the only power option. This wasn't too clear on launch and every guide and information taught us to use them.

Thanks! This is going to be really useful, especially with the time stamps, so we can go directly to areas we have questions about. I'm going to watch with the game in front of me so I can practice what I'm watching. ❤

You have no idea how much this helps!! Thank you Rudi! 😀

Hallo Rudi! Vielen Dank für dieses Video! Since you seem to have communication with Frontier, I wanted to pass a suggestion to you that you might consider sharing with them. I like how you map out your park in advance. Instead of relying on different landscape textures (dirt, rock, sand, etc.), it would be an awesome feature if they added an actual paint tool. It would be so helpful if we could draw/paint out sections with something that is clearly an overlay that could be turned on/off. It doesn't have to be complicated. Just a simple pen/marker tool to freeform draw on the map and that could be turned on off as needed for park planning. If you think that's a good idea, perhaps consider passing it along :)
Tschüss!

Hi! Thank you so much for making this tutorial. I just bought Platen Coaster 2 and was a little bit lost. It was quite different than Planet Zoo (a game in which I'm also improving because of your mega tutorial!!!). Thank you so much, I'm really enjoying your content :)

Can you please make a Tutorial how to use blockbrakes in coasters

48:37 I believe if you go into settings on path building there is a setting that brings foundation up to the path incline automatically.   This means you can use it to build nice smooth terrain ramps using your pathing tool

This guide has been very helpful to have while I'm building. I just had it going in the background and did my own thing, then hear you explain something and me realizing that was something I needed to know! So thank you! And yes, I did watch it all the way through! <3

this is exactly what i was looking for oh my goodness!! this game is easy to mess around in…but to actually understand and create things in it is a whole ‘nother thing. finally i’ve found a tutorial that is so lovely and clear- thankyou!!
