That was GREAT! Thanks Gooch! Wow i hadnt heard of a lot of those. The battery blew me away the most! I think these additional ideas people gave should be test #2 & maybe cut to the top 2 or 4 of this competition to compare. I also have heard of sugar (a lot) cold water, put in fridge every night, but who's got room? And cut stem every day, diagonally & fresh reg tap water daily. I've never heard of silver & coins arent silver anymore, so?? If u used a AAA, maybe on round #2 use AA OR 9Volt? Ask followers for ideas on a round #2 that u will do in a month or 2. Anticipation 🎵🎶🎶🎵 gooch is making me wait. 😊 👍👍👍👍👍
I always trim the rose stem end under water, in a sink for example, then place the rose in a water filled vase. This prevents an air bubble that could cause the flower head to droop.
Cut bottom of rose stem on an angle. If you cut it straight across it can rest flat against the vase bottom which can prevent water from traveling up the stem
